Nope but I have burned my finger once. What you describe sounds horrible!!!!!

If you have had it happen and this is not a rhetorical question I WANT DETAILS.

Thank god. This is where my horrible building skills play in my favor. I cannot IMAGINE dreamily placing a burning hot coil to my lips I'm usually thinking, "Oh god, gotta STRUM and where did I put that shred of RAYON dammit..."

Actually feel foolish for admitting this but I had a dual Clapton coil build in one of my rda's, then primed the wicks and hit the fire button, opened my mouth to inhale and.... erm totally forgot to replace the top cap.

Well... there was a brief resurgence in the 90’s. That was all voluntary and on purpose though. People would build complicated designs out of bent welding rod, heat them up and apply them.

Attempting either that or attempting to suck on a hot coil does take a special kind of something though. That something being largely comprised of stupid.

I almost just about real close just about did this for the first time the other day. I stopped short and saved my lip from a burn that i can imagine would by god hurt. I got stung on my upper lip by a yellow jacket once. That was exquisitely painful to be sure. But nope, not branded my lip with a hot coil yet.

Laughed at that many a times, lol. Didn't know it was supposed to be a warning . Had bloody good ice-cream that evening, followed by hot coffee on it in the morning, as I had forgotten. Always sumptin...

No, or at least not so far ... but I am a member of the burnt finger club and one of the founder members of the forgot-to-switch-the- mod-back-off-after-dryburning-a-coil-and-before-scraping-with-a metal-screwdriver-and-got-a-short team!

No pics to show to the voyeurs as it was a while back when I rebuilt the old Kanger heads. When dry burning the coils I would blow on them as it seemed to remove some crud . On occasion I burned a lip. I grew a beard at one point and sometimes singed me tash as well.
