I live in Belgium, Europe. People here don't look at
vaping like smoking because, instead, they keep telling me in the streets that
vaping is even far worse than smoking, and, immediately as soon as I start my reply with "Royal College of Physicians" and "scientific evidence", they'll interrupt me with claims about bribery and corruption, and then they'll start laughing at me, and also I get looked at like I'm some kind of terrorist who is throwing massive amounts of chemical poison in the air. Online selling is banned, advertising illegal,
vaping in public indoor places illegal, which means vaping in vape shops is illegal also. Heavy police raids in vape shops are not uncommon so vapers and vape shops get publicly criminalized in addition to this. And yeah, mods do get destroyed on the spot if they are intercepted by customs so if a Belgian vaper orders a mod from a web shop owned by a company in one of our neigbouring EU countries like from the UK, The Netherlands, Germany, or France, it's smuggling. On very many occasions and in a big variety of ways, vapers are essentially getting treated like they're the scum of the earth. Whereas smokers, as long as they go outside to smoke, are mainly just being ignored by everyone. That is, aside from the stereotypical "they've become expensive, haven't they?" that gets thrown around frequently of course.
