There maybe something of a difference between the CK and the Orbtronic Bart's, I'm open to the possibility I could be wrong, we will see, and either way I will make sure you guys know.

Well theres no doubt that they work as many of us are using them jkmtwo !!! and they perform super and you will soon see I'm sure.

The side of the Batt should not be equal to the top of the nipple, you just said it has a 1mm nipple, if this is true then it is sticking up 1mm above the side of the Batt, it is hard to notice the 1mm but it should be there on your Batt sticking up just that little bit,,, if you have a rare earth magnet put it on top of your Batt then try the Batt jkmtwo, this will make it work
You could also try to slide something very thin under the vent on the flat top and maybe pry up the center just a smidgen being very gentile if you don't have a rare earth magnet ( i take no responsibility for this ) but personally I would give it a go :)

Been using the Callie's Kustom's for well over a month now maybe a bit longer, they not only work but work super. I like these Batts better then the current AW IMR too. They also fit and work in BOTH of my Provari's, which by the way where V-1's that David from Provape converted for me to the upgrade to V-2's and NO magnet is needed in either of mine to make connection.

The CGR18650CH has a flat top but it is a 1mm flat top so it sticks up 1mm, this is why it makes contact ( note I have not used anything but the Callie's Kustoms, which should be the same as any Panasonic CGR18650CH,,, One thing though, be careful not to push down that 1mm even a little bit or it may not make contact, so when putting them in your charger dont slam them in the charger, be gentile with this process, I dont see it getting pushed down but maybe that's the reason one or two of you are having issues, unless some of the other certified wrappers of this Batt are using a different spec which I dont know but dont think they should be. Anyways all I can say is the Callies Kustoms are for real, and a high quality IMR Batt that seems to be out performing the AW not only from my personal run times but also by the charts I've been looking at on some other forums.

Here is a run chart at 3Amps CK vs AW the CK Looks to me CK wins hands down

What type are they?

It's the grey ones from Callie's Kustoms. They're 2150mah 18650's, guess I may need to pick up some spacers. Maybe it's the sticker on the outside of the battery, it seems like it was placed flush with the top of the battery, as if it needs to be slid down to the bottom just a tad.

I had read that Panasonic was coming out with a button top cell, I wonder when orbtronic got these in. I was just over the like Tuesday.....hmmm....it says in the info on the page that they will work with provari

You are right.

I do not think spacers (magnets) are needed for ProVari anymore.

That would be it, cgr18650ch 2250mah with welded top button on anode side.

So u went through all that trouble and now that its fixed, they come out with something else. Well its nice that its more easy for everyone else now and we do appreciate your effort. Anyone with the battery's you have can at least have a fix now as well. Did you buy the spacers from orbtronic?

Yeah no doubt its no biggie though, I was using the first 2 I got from orbtronic in my flashlight. Now I have 4 lol.

I ordered 4 of these. And the spacers I got from lighthound.
Thanks Jkmtwo. If u want to list the other two in the classified section with the spacers I bet u can lighten your load. :toast:

Ahaha I might do that, I don't know though, I will have 12 18650s when the other 4 get here, I usually don't like selling batts, but I might I derno. Haha

Dang lol. I never pulled the trigger on the larger battery's. Came to the conclusion that if the smaller ones work good then I should wait till they croak. I pretty much know I would just neglect the smaller ones if I upgraded so ill let them live for now.
