I remember my first order from Ave was over a year ago and it came from TX. Tried a bunch of juices after that then unsuccessfully tried to order Boba's again. I did finally manage to get my hands on some Boba's this week and it came from CA. It tastes MUCH different than the last time. Whats up?

I got my batch in on Saturday, didn't get graham cracker, just raisins almost pruny. On the other hand the Banana from Gorilla Juice really made it enjoyable right off the mail. Been vaping it non stop for 3 days now, done like 15mls of it already and I'm hooked. Its gotten much better each day. I'm holding off until the one week mark to try Boba's again, but judging by how the GJ is aging I'm sure it will be just as good minus the Banana of course.

As a first time user I can say whole heartedly that, at least the GJ, is an amazing juice and so far it has lived up to the hype for me. Can't wait to give Boba's a 2nd chance after steeping.

Was trying to get a replacement. I would send back my other unopened bottles from end of July. Anyway I got yesterday another 30ml to try. Did not try yet but seems to smell similar... same raisinish scent. Couple of others posted they just got Bobas and also smelled of raisins ~ pruney, no graham cracker. Your thoughts?

the 30's I got a couple weeks ago did not have that rasin/prune smell to it. I have some 100's coming tomorrow. I will let you know once they get here what the smell/flavor is like.

I put down my GJ today, whent back to my trusty Mt Baker 555. The on again off again flavor was putting me off or I just got tired of it after 5 days straight of vaping anything but GJ.

Was thinking of going for the Boba's but the smell was still kinda raisinish, the smell itself isn't very pleasant, I tried a few drops on my atty and coil before putting my Kayfun backtogether to fill it and I don't know, I've never tried Boba's before but I'm not getting any graham crackers, just a prunyness that isn't exactly appealing.

What do you guys recommend I do? Let it steep for another few days (it's been 5 days now, spent one full day cap off) or should I contact Ben at AVE to see about a replacement bottle? What was making me enjoy the GJ was the banana flavor, but when the banana flavor went away sometimes I would get that pruny taste, and sometimes I'd get an amazing tasting nutty flavor but then it would come back to the banana and prune mix.

Every batch i have had is different. Sad to say only ever had 1 graham batch from the secret openings.

"Raisins N vinegar" in a previous batch, couple 100 mls. Some weird chemical tasting stuff (sept 6-ishh)from before last shortage, 100ml...not reallly vape-able at all. This latest "pruny with just a touch o chem" batch (arrived this week and last week) is better than the chemical batch, but not as good as "raisins and vinegar", and neither compares to my sole order from secret openings(grahamish).

Ugh...gave up. Sad to say, im just vaping whatever flavor they feel like sending as im sick of hunting juices down (other than the batch of chemicals).

I laughed when Mr. Mann when he said he told me he was just gonna keep it and vape the vingar stuff awhile back.......well.....im right there with ya now......blowin a toot of "prune o chem" your way ;0 Im gonna save the remainder of my "raisins N vinegar" for a special occasion.

Honestly its probably a good thing as its helped me reduce nic levels in an attempt to quit altogether partly due to all the frustration and hassle involved. Ordered some good ole' trusty HB from CC as a backup....although must vape that within 2 weeks or i cant stand the taste after a full steep (ohhh the frustration.....must quit).

Mann, i think you were right when we talked a couple months ago......

Just an FYI, I am vaping a bottle of GJ right now, and while I have no idea how old this 30 mL is, it is freakin' tasty as hell! It's not very robust in flavor, but somehow, the flavor it does have calls me more than Sallie Mae. LOL. Nothing off with this bottle. I wish there was more to the label, like the date made, than that wack sticker that fades quicker than the contents of the bottle.

Well I left my 1 week old Boba's alone after dripping some of it right off the mail. One week in the raisins are almost gone. I'm definitely getting a sweet graham cracker flavor out of it now, still a hint of raisinish taste in the background but I'm sure it will completely go away in another week at this rate. It's tasting pretty delicious to me right now! :D

I glad you brought the vinegar up. I've only been using Boba's for the last 2 months and that and Day Break has kept me off analogs for that time. The bottle I received about 3 weeks ago tasted like burnt caramel later on a vinegar taste. I thought I was losing my taste or what little mind I've got left.

I agree. I think Ben is truly a stand-up guy, but I do wonder what could possibly be his reasoning for switching it out if there is nothing wrong, or different, from batch to batch; after all, he is a "sticker" about that sort of thing. If there was in fact something wrong with that batch, wouldn't that mean that everyone that ordered from that batch should be told, "hey, everyone, there is something wrong with this batch; we will get you replacements out." I am not trying to be snarky, but my last order, as I've spoken about, tastes like the maker combined the tops notes of Boba's (Boba flavoring) with the base of Gamel (vinegar). What gives? Are the batches different or not? Or, is this a case where Ben will just do his best to satisfy a customer even though he is sending them the same juice, even if it is from a different batch? Why would one batch be different from another? And why send a replacement if it is the exact same juice?

Does anyone else vape any NETs (naturally extracted tobacco)? There's one called Candied Cavendish from The Plume Room. Really good stuff. The problem is that after an entire day of vaping the stuff, my atomizer tastes and smells like an ashtray. My theory is that it's because of some fine tobacco particulates that build up inside the attie and burn.

Why am I talking about this in a Boba's Bounty thread? Because my prior batch of BB was doing the same thing to my attie. The newer batch I received about 2 weeks ago and the 30ML bottles that I had purchased a month ago do not make my attie taste like an ashtray.

I'm happy to report that the latest batch that I received 2 weeks ago now tastes a lot like honey, still some raisin, and the lightest hint of graham cracker.
