All of Don's offerings are great!!!! You can't go wrong with any of them. Don's RY4 is awesome right out of the mail box; I recommend that you try it when you first get it. The flavor will develop over time... The flavor transforms into something totally different in about 8-10 days. It's really cool to sample Don's RY4 an different stages of the steeping process. Different flavors were prevalent to me at different times in the process.
As far as the "hair" thing; I don't necessarily believe any of it. But, if it were true- you could have the tightest quality standards in the world and something like this could happen. That's why even the EPA has allowable thresholds for contaminants. A pet hair really doesn't speak to Don's quality standards and/or cleanliness. I'm a pet owner and I'm amazed how (and where) pet hair can present itself from time to time. I have no concerns about BWB, so, BUY WITH CONFIDENCE! You will get a superior product!
What was more concerning to me (than the pet hair), was how ECF moderators closed the posts related to this issue- prematurely; when they didn't necessarily violate ECF rules! There is nothing wrong with healthy discussion about issues like this and the truth normally becomes apparent over time. I think ECF moderators actually HURT Don by closing these posts too soon. They closed these discussions before he could even protect himself. I would have loved for him to speak to his quality standards, and maybe even post a picture or two of his lab. I feel closing these posts were an insult to the intelligence of some ECF users
Imagine how many people are going to find out too late.
