I think I saw this problem posted on reddit last year but I can't remember what the outcome was. My guess is that there is something in your juice that reacts with a metal in Ni80 when it's oxidized.
That's what I was thinking, but I was looking up stuff about my Glock, I came up on a post where a guy had been using brass brush to clean his and it left brass deposits on the gun because brass is softer than steel, I realized I had just switched to using a brass brush to clean my coils. So I didn't do that this time and it didn't happen. It had never happened before either, just started when I started using brass. Lol
