Well, what a day.

First of all, my juice did not arrive in the mail even though the USPS website said it would arrive today.

It wouldn't be so bad except that I was running low on my favorite juice (which is what was arriving today). So, finally at about 4:30pm I decided to go ahead and fill my tank with a different flavor that isn't horrible, but I find it harder to quell the urge for a cigarette with the other flavor (it is a lower nicotine level).

Since I am almost out of that flavor too, I am REALLY hoping my juice arrives in the mail tomorrow at least.

It gets worse...

I was getting ready to go over to Starbucks on my bike about an hour ago so I was going to put my PV into my case until I got there. As I was unscrewing my tank from the Vtube I wasn't paying attention. Instead of grabbing the base and unscrewing it, I unfortunately unscrewed the tank tube from the bottom where the juice is held. Every bit of it fell out onto the floor! So, now I have about 1ml of that flavor left until tomorrow. :( I don't think that is going to cut it.

I have a back up plan but I am not happy about it. If my juice doesn't arrive tomorrow I am going to have to go over to my local vendor and buy a 10ml bottle to get me by until Monday. I wouldn't mind except it is so much more expensive than ordering it online. I wish money wasn't so tight right now, otherwise I wouldn't even care really. It's still cheaper than smoking real cigarettes! My cigarettes are $6.25 per pack vs $9.99 for 10ml juice that will last me for at least 2 or maybe even 3 packs worth (I was a pack+ per day smoker).

Anyway, that is my story. On my next paycheck I am going to order a LOT of juice so I don't have this problem anymore! I am using more juice than I originally thought I would.

Oh well, live and learn eh? Adventures in vaping!

For sure! Like I said above, live and learn!

This was my biggest bug when I first learned about e-cigs via the Blu advertisements. I couldn't afford at that time to buy those expensive cartomizers and then wait for them to come in the mail. Plus, since they weren't satisfying me enough to not keep smoking I couldn't afford doing both (smoking and vaping). Thank heavens I have at least found a good product that quells the urge to smoke so well, otherwise I would be in even more trouble right now! lol

Definitely sound like a bad vaping day. It's extremely frustrating when things don't arrive when they're supposed to, and it happens more often than it should. I'm a bit paranoid with my vaping supplies...my backups have backups! There's no such thing as having too much juice on hand! :D Hope your juice arrives tomorrow and glad that you have a vendor close by if it doesn't.

been there. :/ which is precisely why i started making my own...when you have your own supplies, you've got virtually zero chance of running out unexpectedly...and it's a whole LOT less expensive...speaking of which, now that i vape 100% VG with only 3-6mg nicotine and a single drop of flavoring, it's super dee DUPER cheap! (it's so cheap, i don't even have to budget for it anymore!)

I am actually considering getting into DIY. I have to do more research. I love doing things myself but I am a little afraid from reading the warnings about working with straight nicotine. I have the perfect room in my house that I could set up for mixing my own with ventilation and storage, etc.

We will see...

Yes, I have seen where a number of people recommend the back ups for their back ups. I am slowly getting there. I wish I could go crazy and just buy everything all at once and be done with it all except for the juice. I am almost there though. I have 3 batteries for my Vtube now. That is working really well. Now I need a couple of back up tanks (I only have one that is my favorite even though I have two back ups I don't like so much). I should be able to get those next week. Then I just have to stock up on some juice and I think I will be set for a while. Then I can order more juice when I am down to only 3 bottles left! lol

i had concerns about working with straight nicotine as well, which is why i bought 36mg at first...this is the maximum allowed for retail sale on ECF (you can actually vape 36mg, although i wouldn't advise it, lol). i eventually moved up to using 48mg, and was tempted to get 98 or 100mg (as it makes it slightly cheaper in the long run), but i'm glad i didn't, especially because i'm kinda klutzy -- the risk just isn't worth it to me.

I just ordered 750mls of 36mg, 500ml just arrived, 250 more enroute. I cut it down to 12mg, which is 1/3rd...so, my 750mls becomes 2250mls of flavored yummyz....minus probably 200mls of garbage because I mixed it wrong or don't like it.

When I started DIYing my liquid, I bought a starter kit with like 10 flavors... two of them were vapable after I mixed them up. The rest are chilling in little bottles. The pizza one was particularly stinky. It's the same concept as switching from smoking to vaping though. Bigger up-front investment and then riding on that for a while....and it's not that scary as long as you buy the lower level concentrate. I've had 36mg all over my fingers with no problems. I wouldn't recommend it with 100mg though, just for safety sake.

I've had similar days, but the best advice I heeded was to get the backups for your backups plan. I had also planned months ago to do this when I got my tax refund so I had the extra money to buy those backups.
I HATE running out of your favorite juice. Especially when it's your wake-n-vape. Mine was BB so when I didn't have it, I eventually broke myself away from it and found other flavors I probably wouldn't have tried at the time, like coffee flavors to go w/ my coffee (and beer). Then I really got tired of getting juices I didn't like, or only liked for a day, and went back to DIY. That's still a work in progress but w/ the right flavors, it'll eventually pan out. :D
I dilute a 24mg nic base down to 18mg or less.

Thanks to everyone that replied. It made me feel much better and less irritated! lol

I have one good thing to report at least. The flavor I didn't like that much turned out to taste better than I remember when I used the cartos. That made me happy, except that I ran out of that by 12:00pm. Tried to sleep but couldn't so now I am trying out the watermelon flavor I bought a small 10ml bottle of that is 100% PG. I like the PG/VG mix of anything much better. The last time I tried it (in the cartos) the flavor was very weak and tasted almost watered down for some reason.

It's a bit better in the new tank but still not my favorite by far.

I checked the USPS website again tonight on my package and now it is saying it arrived in Opa Locka which is a couple of towns over from me so hopefully (fingers crossed) it will make it to my post office before the delivery guy leaves in the morning. I actually have good communication with him so I may just chase him down mid his route tomorrow and get my package! lol

I lost my entire stash The other day. I was at my mom's and brought some bottles in a travel bag, misplaced it and spent 10 hours searching and freaking out about the possibility killing her dog. Luckily I got to share her piña colada juice, eventually found my bag, and her dog is fine.

Hopefully you get yours early! "deliver the letter, the sooner the better"

Oh! Good story.

When I first started vaping, I got a carrying case. I took it in to work with me because it was winter and I didn't want to have frozen liquids all over that I couldn't use anyway. Anyhow, I left it under the counter and forgot about it until after I had closed and locked myself out of the building.

Fortunately, the restaurant has a gas station attached that's open all night. I got one of the attendants at the gas station to help me lift up the 12 foot wide solid iron curtain enough that I could get under it and to my stuff. I was freaking out until I got in. It was crazy....all of my stuff and all my extra batteries...omg...

*UPDATE*

So I checked the USPS website this morning upon waking. My package showed that it had arrived at my local Post Office at 8:39am.

Now, I sort of know my postal carrier and he usually heads out for his route at 8:30am so I wasn't sure how this day would end up going. It also usually shows "out for delivery" if my carrier was able to get it in time. But there was no message of this nature.

I have been nervously waiting all day (my mail usually comes late afternoon) because I really don't want to go buy 10ml of juice for $10.00 if I don't have to.

Well, the mail came later than usual today, about an hour later so I thought this could be a good thing and perhaps the carrier left later than usual and was able to get my package in time.

YES!!! WIN!!!! It was in my box at 4:30pm. I was actually worried at first because when I grabbed the envelope it was in I could smell the liquid pretty strongly (it's Desert Ship and to me the juice smells bad but the vape tastes good). My first thought was, "NOOOOOOO! It leaked or something and I have an empty bottle!". However, this was not the case but I find it odd that I can smell it so strongly through the bottle. Anyone ever notice that?

Anyway, they also through in a small sampler bottle of Irish Cream in my same mix and nic amount. Nice! This is the first vendor that has done that. I will try that one out later tonight with my micro brewed beer I have been salivating for all day. lol

Cheers everyone!
