Gotta go look that one up in my Bad Analogy handbook. Flip flip flip. Oh ok, I get it. (I think...)

O well it is what it is, you know 6 of these and half a dozen of the other, Id rather have a bird in the hand over two in the bush, Kind of like spending a dollar to save a dime.

It wasn't an analogy lol. Doogie was just playing off a post I wrote in that thread asking people what they were waiting for in the mail...

Also some spandex and legwarmers from eBay so I can recreate the Olivia Newton John video for Physical.

Placed an order with AvidVaper 6:30 this morning, at 7:48 got a shipping notice with tracking number. This is what I get when I track the package

My order has been delivered not only to the wrong town and state, but to the past also. After ordering stuff online for many years this is the first time this has happened. I know it's not USPS fault, but saw it after reading new comments on the thread :D

All in all, I've been surprised by how well the US Post Office works. Yes, sometimes my stuff is a day late, but I live in a small town 45 miles from the nearest city. I kind of expect that there might be a delay getting stuff here. BUT, I was actually blown away when I ordered some stuff from MBV on the 24th, and it arrived on the 26th (Wash. State to rural Maryland in 2 days). Not bad, not bad. PLUS, having recently become a vaper, this is the MOST I've ever dealt with USPS in my life. It seems that EVERY store either only uses USPS, or their UPS/Fedex shipping is astronomically expensive, so I'm forced to use USPS shipping anyway. Hopefully all our business with the USPS will help keep them afloat, and we'll avoid Saturday shutdowns. With vapemail at stake, those Saturday shutdowns could be BRUTAL!

I don't even bother with tracking updates anymore. I just wait for my dog to start barking like a maniac at the front window and then I know something has arrived.

And then I open the door and there's a cat on the porch. (USooPS doesn't deliver cats.) So I go check my tracking again.

Stupid cat.

So now USPS is being allowed to mess with the space time continuum? You was delivered a year ago to a different State? (Do you feel like ya mighta lived there in a different...parallel universe? A year ago?)

Seriously, I've seen chatter that USPS is now recycling old tracking numbers. Probably what's going on here.

Back on my previous orders it would say along the lines of "should be delivered by" and now it flat out states "scheduled delivery day". Are they that confident now? Lol. Anyone who has seen this before, have they been spot on?

I actually live north of San Antonio in Boerne, so mine always goes through San Antonio first, then to the post office in Boerne and if I am lucky I will get it on the scheduled date. But then if it arrives at Boerne's post office late, they just change the scheduled delivery date haha.

Its always been +/- 1 day on their first "scheduled delivery day" for me so far though. I have even receieve packages that supposedly showed up to Boerne's post office at 9:30 am the day of delivery.

for us we can pretty much count on it being the day AFTER they say they will. Such is small town living. ;)

I'm in the Grand Coteau area and I've noticed if my shipments go through New Orleans they are always a day late, but if they go through Baton Rouge they are on time. I think the New Orleans sorting center is just slow or they are doing something odd there.

I am sure that we, and college football recruiters with their newfound lack of restrictions on mailing materials, will ensure Saturday deliveries for a LONG time.

If someone else already answered this I apologize, I haven't read the entire thread to the end yet. USPS recycles tracking numbers. When your package gets scanned into the system it will probably reflect the correct data.
