IMEO, I really think the diameter is the size issue that some have with theGG now. All other mods seem to be getting away from using the 18 mm sizes of battery. The majority of devices are all going with a 18mm OUTSIDE diameter. It feels much smaller in the hand and I can see how someone with small hands would really appreciate this smaller diameter. Now if we are talking about the 14500 Grant then it could be even less than that....

somewhere out there......
yep I agree i could care less to have a battery that can go for 2 days without charging.... the weight of the 18650 battery is just to heavy in the hand and besides a 16340 battery or a 14500 battery could easily go most of the working day without needing to switch out for a freshly charged one. and if Imeo could get the outside of a grant down to 17mm (width) the weight and width of the grant would be perfect when the battery is inside. Wow I can picture it now. :)

Also I think Imeo should start selling different attie caps instead of having to put adapters on. those adapters get liquid inside so thats just another piece to clean and also the adapters add length as well. So I think to make the GG grant more versatile, a 510, 901, and 801 attie caps should be made and then let the buyer make the choice witch attie threads to use.... me I'm a strict 510 attie user... :)

Grant will be ready for 14500 so it could be at 17mm in width but it will take cr2 batteries so it will go at 18mm in width. If we put cr123 in it then it would be at 19mm in width and it wouldnt be a Grant. So the width will be at 18mm for cr2 and 14500 my friend Grimmer.
As for the different caps I really disagree and I will tell you my reasons:

1) A different cap has to be carried in your bag. But the adapter can stay attached on the atomizer so you dont carry anything with you.

2) The adapters are so small now that they add only 5mm on length.

3) The cleaning of the adapter is much easier than the cleaning of a cap

4) Adapters are shorter, lighter and thinner than a cap

The different caps was an idea that came to from adaptever while I was making mechanical adapters. I had already thought of this solution if you remember (you are a veteran here!) but it was not what I wanted so I rejected. :)

In the land of no hills and red dirt
My vote goes to just 14500 and smaller diameter. If we start adding features we will make it a GGTS... But we have GGTS which does everything, we just need a GGSlim with bigger battery life.

Here, here. <pounds on table>

But this is an academic debate for me anyway. I have no intention of using anything than my ggts.
