If you pair the eGo, a "3.7 pv" which is a true voltage of 3.1 to 3.2volts, with the perfect atty resistance... ymmv anywhere from 1.5 Ohm to 2.4 in an atty, and a little higher with cartos... you will have one example of a "perfect vape".

Multiply that by... hmmm... to many to count imo... in the case of one of the new "smart pv"s... Provari or Darwin..

you can get the "perfect vape" out of virtually any atty with one of these as they have "managed power" to the atty.

I'm sure you will hear this a lot. A regulated mod will change everything. VV mods in particular. Could try a buzz, infinity, jokerav, or a provari. Then you can try all kinds of attys and cartos at all kinds of resistance. You can find a perfect setup you never knew was there without all the voltages. If you have the money I would go provari.

The provari is quite tempting... I haven't read much about variable voltages. Is it to get just the right amount of current going through the atty to attain the perfect temperature? I find that normal 510 attys have more flavor, but less vapor. LR has more vapor, less pronounced flavor. Would the provari fix this? (ie convince me it will be worth the 150 bucks, but it shouldn't be hard to do =P)

I think the Tekk mod is pretty cool... of course the ProVari is pretty cool.... and the Darwin.... and the GG.... and the Reo's...

My ego-T came with a necklace/lanyard thing. I have intermittent arthritis, and some other problems, and tend to drop stuff all the time. I think the other cool mods are probably too heavy for me to wear to bed (I sleep in a semi-upright position). Oh, the GLV mini would work around the neck....
but in the end, I'm probably better off with the ego-T right now. Maybe when the batteries go, and are out of warranty, I'll look into something else..

It's a wide, wonderful world of mods out there. I come across multiple ones daily that I'd love to have.
I see peoples signatures, with lists of 10 mods they own.. I get really jealous. (shhhh.... don't tell anyone! :) )

If you're wanting to venture into the world of mods there's no better place to start than a simple boxmod. For less than $50 you can get a complete setup with mod, batt's, charger, and attys. In my opinion it's the perfect place to start since it's cheap and effective. And, if you decide you like it you can upgrade and use the same batteries, charger, and atty's and keep the boxmod as a backup device. Madvapes has all the stuff and they're on the ECF approved vendor list.

Try cartomizers on your 510 and Ego - I love the cartos. On my 510 I'm using standard resistance Boge soft-caps and also ordered the standard SLB soft-caps. There are also LR versions you could try on Ego.

I vape 2 PVs every day but I am on my 3rd week of using one of those Boges on my 510 so I figure I vaped 1.5 weeks worth on that one- performance is finally going down - drag getting a bit harder but still giving me good vapor. I actually think the harder drag is just due to the center channel shifting a bit over 3 weeks of use.

Try a tank atty and tank on Ego?

Try a Provari? A box mod? A bottom feeder?
