Well I haven't got a whole lot of different stuff, at least not yet. Mainly I've just had standard eGos and clearos till I recently got a Buzz Pro and some Pyrex AROs. I am finding the combination very satisfying, I can't imagine it getting much better. Also it's still pretty basic I happily vape away pretty much all day with little tinkering. There are still a few things out there I am going to try and I plan on getting a Back-up VV mod sometime, most likely the new one that notcigs.com is working on.

PS- I have vape mail tomorrow morning. :) :vapor: (oops actually this morning now that I noticed the time) :mail:

Who knows what will come out in the future. But, so far I just haven't felt a need to look for something else since I started using a Reo Grand+RM2.
Pretty much says it for me too - I have no desire at the moment to look for any other devices, completely satisfied with the REO. I've got a ProVari/carto tank as backup, but the REO Grand/RM2 is what I use 99% of the time.

Don't know about "forever", but my daily grab and go is an 18650 powered all brass mechanical sporting an original Protank with P&C cotton wicking & 1.8 ohm coil, and my own DIY juice. At home I tinker with my Vamo V2 and RSST w/DIY ceramic wick, and my KTS Storm is also running a Protank and most days I also bring that along, but day in day out the all brass mech with a Protank at 1.8 wearing cotton wicks is where I am happy and I have no urgent desires to change it. It's good looking, simple, indestructible, hits just fine, and easily lasts all day long on a single battery.

Your all brass mechanical looks just like my all brass mechanical lol. Mine is topped with one of my four dream 804s though, with micro coil and cheese cloth wick. Stellar vape, but forever is a long time. If I could find something with as good a vape but a little easier to refill and at a decent price, I'd probably spring for it. :vapor:

I just realized I didnt put up my forever set up. or at least what I have been using since mid may/ june? Im sure the devices on my signature are a big clue.

I have 2 Odysseus atomizers with lots of parts to customize size and looks. I have a great rugged workhorse I use everyday since almost a year ago; a black Ice Kicked Saber touch 18650. I also use my Precise ELA everyday and more than the saber. I use a kick sometimes.

Love these PVs , both will be around always, but Im sure the ELA will out live the Saber, being mechanical. The Saber is great, hits hard but I love the adjustability of the ELA. I use a Chris Creations Fatty V2 for dripping my NET tobaccos on. Love that Fatty. Simple and works and tastes great. I see none of these ever leaving.

Ive had a couple offers for the ELA and could make my money back double, but I would hate myself if I did. She is beauty and the beast. THe Saber is my monster.

Hey,

Don't go just yet. Wanted to get some information from you about vape clubs or B & M in the NE Alabama area. Do you know any?

You are the closest person I've gotten to, for being a true vaper in this God forsaken state. (Alabama is a beautiful state though, just a bit conservative for my taste) Any info you can give or helpful tips?

Many dont start out with collections in mind, it just happens.

Might be fun to see what your workhorse or perfect set up is and why.

I used to have quite a collection. Now, I think I have 6 PVs - 3 are put away and I should probably just sell them - 1 never leaves my desk because it doesn't always work when I need it to and I should just throw it away - and the remaining 2 are my REOs which get used every day.

My primary PV is a REO VV Woodville. I'm not nearly as picky about attys as I used to be, and though I own a couple of rebuildables, I've never used them. Right this moment, there is a cisco aero on my VVW. I'm just as happy with a good 306 or when I can get them, an i06.

Why my REOs? Well, my REOs always work. They've never given me any trouble. They are feeders so the convenience is hard to beat. The VVW has all the features I need (or even want) and it looks pretty good too.

You said you want to see it. The pic in my ECF storage was taken a while ago and the VVW didn't have an aero on it when I took it. I'm pretty sure that was a cisco 306.

If I'm going to be around water (on the lake, or fishing the river, or if it's raining hard), I carry a REO Mini with an aero, 306, or maybe even just a regular cisco 510 instead of the VVW.

Either/both is my "forever set up". I'd rather carry the VVW for the extra juice on board and the extended battery life so I don't have to carry any extra batts or anything, but that mini has served me very well for nearly 2 years.

The REOs were the end of me buying mods. I just don't really care about anything that isn't a feeder any more, and none of the other feeders I've had are in the same league as my REOs.

Well mine has been the same for about three years now or basically the same. I use a mechanical mod with high end 18650's. When I'm at home I drip with a LR atty. When I'm out and about it's a vivi with a 1.8ohm set up. I have been vaping the same DIY juice for the last three years as well. It's cinnamon/swedish fish with a hint of natural tobacco, just an aftertaste, 50/50 blend.

Although I did spend a whole whopping 16 cents buying a bunch of new equipment from focalecigs a couple weeks ago. It's an offshoot of Wallbuys and they have what is called an Instant Kill sale. A bunch of stuff was only a penny. You have to be the first few people to hit the button and type the captcha in. I "won" 16 different prizes. A couple of 100ml juices and 4 various tanks. The rest were ego's with Cr4's on them some with cases, a couple of VV ones with three settings. One with two ego's and a case and one VV 3.0 - 6.0 volts ego/passthrough kit. I got a bunch of them in already but I will most likely give them to friends. I might keep the VV ego/passthrough though.

Before that I bought a K100 to replace my failing megalodon but that was the first thing I had bought in at least three years including juice, batteries or anything at all. I have enough atties and stuff to make up juice to last me years more. I bought the 510 lr atties four years ago for 50 cents each. I have about a hundred or so left. I used to make all kinds of mods including some of the first ever VV box mods but got bored with them. I signed up for this site just to see what was new and to get recommendations for a mechanical mod for a friend when I saw how cheap they were on Fast tech I bought one myself. (the K100 pretty nice really) The megalodon still works but the threading is getting whipped.

Well to make a long story short (too late), yes basically the same kit and juice for the last three years.

Good quote in your sig. I like this one too:

Honestly I don't think it is possible to have the forever device. New stuff is coming out all the time and going to school on the problems of the old stuff. Worse the optimal vape for each of us can change.

I find when I am at home my K100 + Octopus RDA is my optimal vape yet when I am out and about it is my ego twist with an EVOD on it.

At least those are my optimals until I find something else that knocks my socks off.

Reo Grande, AW 18650 2000mAh, RM2, 0.7 ohm microcoil with sterile, organic cotton wick and extra cotton shoved above the bottle.

It's not my only setup. But it's my forever setup in that I don't see myself ever not owning it or something basically identical to it. It's mindless. It performs well. It doesn't leak except when I over-squonk showing it off. Coils last 4-6 weeks. It sips juice slower than just about anything else. And even with the sub-ohm, it gives me a normal day away from home before the vape starts sucking. If I'm going to be away longer...I bring 2 or a battery box. I should probably look into a couple of those supposedly-longer-lasting 10A batteries I've been hearing about and can't seem to buy anywhere but slowtech.

I'd almost trade it in for essentially the same thing with a DNA-20 chip and a LiPO pack that gave more life, but I'm not willing to sacrifice one drop of juice capacity, have it be 1mm bigger in any direction, or work any differently apart from the obvious changes charging it. And I'd have to have 2 of them to use one while the other's charging.

And even then, I'd probably keep the Grande as a backup.

So...even in that unlikely dream world, I'd still keep it.

I have a decent pile of other stuff that I enjoy a lot. But that's the "I just want a vape" setup, the lazing on the couch setup, the out & about setup, and the setup I use when I'm experimenting with my other rebuildables.

In a lot of ways, we squonkers are all the same. I do want to try 26ga, though...squeeze in a few more wraps.
