I just got these last Wednesday I have put 6 of them into use. 2 have already quit heating. They are the 2.6 to 2.8 ohm & I'm using them on the volt X2 batteries. They worked just fine then just stopped heating. The meter shows an open circuit, & my batteries all show 3.9 volts. I don't think that should be burning them out. Any help please?

I had a couple that I was using thick VG which did not work so well. I thinned the juice quite a bit with distilled water and actually experienced the same thing you are. Did not work on Ego and the Provari gave an error. BUT...it went away after I drained and cleaned them and refilled. I did notice some fluid in the battery connection. I'm just taking a stab in the dark, but maybe the really thin liquids create some sort of short. Sounds crazy cause the coil is also a short in a way.
For what it's worth clean them, blow them out and try them again. Maybe they'll wake up like mine did. When it's disassembled hook it up and see if the coil heats. Also maybe try a different juice after they are cleaned just for the heck of it. I have only had this happen when I thinned any juices down.

I HAD the SAME THING Happen with mine!!... Well kinda'-lol... I was using it on my ego twist(510threading) it was working great; then put it on my little(808threading)ego, & again, worked fine. BUT, when I went to put it back on my twist-NO GO!!!- so I thought I blew it, or somethin'. I figured Id try it again on my "808", & it was working fine... But, it now ONLY works on my "mini 808".... Which sucks, cause I just gave that one(the mini 808) to a freind who I just on to vaping. Im gonna try fiddlin' w/, 1more time, & if I still cant get it to work ill just give it to my freind with my old "mini".

Give "gotvapes" another chance man... They REALLY ARE one of the FEW DECENT, HONEST, & FAIR, E-cig companys on the web!!! I know how yah' feel too! It reeally bummed me out too. It was my first experience with bottom coil phoenix, after hearing great things about them here, on the forum. & I gotta say, when it did work, the phoenix b.c.c. was AMAZING! I Probably shoulda' used it w/ ONLY my "twist", and I AM DEFFINATALY gonna order another one, & give it another chance! Cause' it VAPED AMAZING!! TONS OF CRISP, CLEAN, FLAVOR, w/ a super smoooth draw. I just hope it'll work beter if I "keep it w/ the same battery"!

GREAT NEWS!!! Thanx to "Rule62"'s idea (using needlenose plyers to GENTLEY pry/pull the center connection post out a tiny bit), it now works perfect! -Just like NEW again:)!!!! Thanx-a-million "Rule"!!! It was SOOO DISSAPOINTING when it happened. It was the first time I tried the b.c.-phoenix, & I must say; Its "bar-none" the BEST clearo'-(if u wanna call it that. Its a TOTALLY unique/different system all together) & ONLY non-carto type system ill use. I gotta give credit where its due.- As I said earlier, Its flavor, smoothness, & pull, is UN-MATCHED amongst clearo's. & it doesnt have leaking, or flooding problems, like carto's etc. DO. It trully is a SUPERIOR product!!!! -& just for fun, try playin' w/ the batt. connection again. GOOD LUCK, & hope you get it figured out!-(since I really havnt seen this same problem floatin' around, its gotta' be a problem w/ "that particular battery.-possibly causing it to short out. Maybe try one on a different battery, & see whatcha' get..

Don't tighten down your carto's so much to avoid having the issue to start with... they only need to be snugged down
