has anyone had a Zero type mod in hand? I am curious about the hand feel and button placement on this type of mod. I am one who happens to think that the HB DNA 40 has a great hand feel and genius button placement. I vape left handed, and for me the HB DNA 40 is super comfortable to use.
I have what's called the Hero? Same concept love the ergonomics of it. To me it's perfect, which is funny cuz I was one of the earlier adopters while everyone else had qc issues.

Hcigar has another DNA 40 mod coming this summer, and it looks like their take on a Zero type mod with a large screen DNA 40. I need one of these like a hole in the head, but I'll be keeping my eye on this one because I love my HB DNA 40 so much.

Hcigar Technology proudly present the VT 40
This unique single 18650 design is so compact, that can easily be classified as one of the smallest devices currently on the market to future the latest DNA 40 V5, large screen board by Evolv.
C-frame design, with ultra-light aluminium cover that will be available in black or silver, with many colours to follow soon.

There goes more of my hard earned $$$$ lol. I'll have to have one.

you can lock in the atty resistance so the chip doesnt refine it. once resistance is locked it will keep that same resistance unless you unclock or set a new coil. it replaces power lock.
so thats only for Temp Control mode right? So if you dont have your atty locked then when you fire the power button the resinstance will change and go up? right? (I dont own a DNA40 device but I am hoping to buy one, thats why i am asking)

Thanks

not sure if atty lock works in power mode. for temp mode, if not locked, then the resistance MAY change due to evolvs refinement feature. if you've built a stable coil with solid connections it shouldnt refine, and if it does it should only be by .01 or so. i believe the refinement feature has a 5 minute beacon/pulse, checking the resistance every 5 mins (or so) when left idle.

It does in regular kanthal mode but not in the same way like a settings lock for the watts won't let you adjust the wattage while its on.

My :2c: here.

It's definitely overpriced for sure. I don't see the value here.
But I will admit that compared to paying $180.00 for a genuine Svoemesto Kayfun V4 RTA at least you're getting a lot more material, design and such for the dollar spent.
That's why I have NEVER bought genuine RTAs except for the LEMO 2 by ELeaf. Why spend $180.00 for a Kayfun V4 versus getting a Tobeco replica for $20-30 ?
