I had heard about people popping the door off when they squonk but as I said my magnets are really strong. i have tack one if that helps. I like the inbox but due to a few things about it like not having a proper seal on the bottle I'm afraid to leave it on its side. so I just use mine in the house.

if you're feeling spendy and want to try a different one, this is my all day every day squonk mod. it has a super short and easy to clean squonking assembly, 15ml soft bottle with threads, a cap and seal, and easy squonking action without having to move your hand. makes it very easy to just squonk and vape.

not saying there is anything wrong with the inbox but I prefer to use this one away from home (therion bf)
I was gunna get one of these, gunna wait on this instead Drone BF (Squonker) DNA166

def. not the best by any comparison. its just an open bottle that you push up over a tube that drips all over and theres always some condensation near the top. & it would be on its side in my pocket, car seat etc.
Condensation? Sorry you can't figure out how not to make a mess. Obviously not allowing the liquid in the tube to drain before fully removing the bottle. The lip of bottle itself cleans the outside of the tube when removed given its almost the same diameter of the mouth on the bottle.

The design seals solid when the bottle is pushed in over the lip of the feed tube plugging into place. Produces minimal to zero wear and tear on the silicone tube itself which any longtime squonker can tell you snap and tear. No stretching, pulling or really any stress on the tube itself.

If any squonk system has a leak it cannot squonk or will very poorly. The Inbox is no more likely to leak than any other squonker when laid on its side....

Something doesn't sound right. I've got 3, the oldest being since Halloween and haven't had any of those issues. I throw em around in the car, pocket em and lay em which ever way and haven't seen a drop or any condensation.

Once the bottle is pushed up, sealed against the tubing and clicked into place on the lip there should be no way for it to leak. Might want to check your bottle or the tubing at the top might be damaged

I haven't had any leaking or condensation in mine. I don't get any drips when changing the bottle either, just make sure and wipe the tube against the edge of the bottle while removing to get any drop hanging.

I do wish the magnets were a bit stronger, but I haven't had any issues of the doors popping off when squonking or otherwise. I have the "colorful" doors, but have heard repeatedly that the black carbon doors have had more wobble to them.

The more I use my Inbox, the more I like it. I would like to see more door choices available and maybe even a black framed Inbox.

gotta love ecf, lol

the condensation I didn't even notice it at first but when I took it apart there was some inside the plastic under the 510 assembly, which I've noticed after that now that i'm looking for it, but I've got no way to check/clean it thouroughly without taking it apart. also on mine its not a super tight fit like that, the bottles come off pretty easy, they'll even start to come loose if you give it a good smack. removing the bottle does not magically remove all the liquid, after I take the bottle out I have to tilt forward and shake it to get some of the drops out, then place q piece of paper towel under while I fill the bottle to catch any extra.

bc of all that I will use a different one out of the house... its not a dealbreaker by any means though, I mean this thing was only 80 bucks and works fine imo for an 80 dollar squonker. my gf has been using it bc she sits at a desk all day, which is fine bc I bought it hoping she'd use it.

that looks pretty sweet, they make quality stuff... i'd like to see more of the squonking assembly though it looks like the bottle is on the side, yet the 510 is centered. on the therion it is just a straight shot from the bottle and takes like 2 seconds to run a twisted up quarter inch of paper towel through it to get it clean.

it would be very nice to have more watts available though.

Right, mine and others have a lip the bottle has to get over. If yours isn't doing that I'd consider replacing the tubing or trying a different bottle. I bought a bunch when I purchased mine.

Almost clicks into place. Not the right term but, only thing that comes to mind. Takes a bit of force then gets easy once over the lip.

I was just thinking this same thing yesterday.I would really like to see a black frame one come out, which they probably will right after i buy my 2nd one haha.I did see jwraps sells wraps for these though,so i will probably get one, although it doesn't cover the entire frame,it leaves the edges uncovered, which may still look nice with a black wrap and silver trim around the edges.

So my preferred vaping style is restricted Dtl Hits, but I do occasionally like to open the air flow and pump up the power.

The Maze RDA that comes with it is a decent little Dripper. I had to close the air intake on it to bring it down to where I like to be so it may work for you.

Aside from that, when I want to pump up the power a lot more, I have a tsunami from fasttech that works great for large Dtl Hits

The hadaly isn't really made for dtl, if you're expecting lung hits you probably won't like it. You can get a restricted lung hit off of it but it's more trying to be a flavor atty, I don't use mine much but when i have, Ive closed off 2 of the airholes.

That looks nice, those gold panels would be awesome on a black framed Inbox, if HCigar ever decided to make one. I saw some Inboxes with blue carbon fiber doors that looked great too.

Welcome to the VT Inbox family! :toast:

Another question ? Has anybody have a vt inbox csv (case analyzer) for a regular unmodded vt inbox? I know a previous poster ran one but he had upgraded the wiring in the internals . Thanks in advance - peace and be well

Tonyc

Edit: I entered the csv for 25rs no problem- it's the only 18650s I use ...

Late to the party as always, my Inbox (Blue Panel) should be here this week. I have a CoV wraith and a PoS Dripbox2, so it will be nice to have a squonker that can actually do TC properly. I'll just transfer my VT75 config over, gotta love eScribe! :thumb:
Make sure and post pics! Did you get the blue carbon fiber doors? I really thought about getting the DB2, already have a DB60 and DB160, but reading the issues some were having turned me off. I also figured that the $25 or so difference in price was worth it, especially with the holiday discount.

Yup, the blue CF doors.

I have the SS DB2, works alright for a VW mod as the TC is basically unusable and that battery issue. Hopefully there will be a firmware update out for it to resolve those issues, but I won't hold my breath. The DB2 is a step below the CoV Wraith's TC, which sort of works... I have an Origin 16 inbound for the DB2 which should make it more useful as a Tootle Puffer squonk.

If you can get a DB2 on the cheap, it would round out your collection nicely. ;)

Once you experience TC on a DNA, everything else just pales in comparison. No vape snobery there, just the ease of use. In all honesty though, the Arctic Fox firmware out now for the Joyetech/Wismec/eLeaf devices, brings them up to par with the DNA quite nicely. Still janky hardware wise, but the UI and feature set is excellent!

Looking forward to the Inbox. I'll check out the Maze but I have an Aromamizer V-RDA inbound for it. I have become a new Craver with a recent grab of the Supreme and Plus RDTA's, so I figured I might just as well try their V-RDA. If it doesn't work out, a Stumpy, Velocity Mini, Royal Hunter or Resurrection might just find a home on it.

Pics will be posted... ;)

I tested it with a stock one, with the copper plug in I got .011 ohms. you don't need a csv for changing the internal resistance.

Does it leak around the pin? I have heard from a few with the Therion squonker and they had issues with leakage, maybe down to it being an after thought getting converted to squonking.
