I am not a temperature control user which at first worried me about my dna 200 mod purchase. Though the TC options are extremely detailed and vried, wattage mode remains the simple application vapers love. There isn't a reason for me to use the latest firmware because older versions had easily wattage mode access which had been thrown into the complex TC software program. It's light, feels expensive and looks regal in person. Once you get used to the software which took me a few weeks of frustration, it paid off and now I have as much power as I need with good enough battery life for my needs. The software isn't something I need to use until I try a TC coil, and it's got power and reliability plus I don't have to think about batteries. I'd suggest getting one even if you're a casual vaper.

Honestly, if you're a casual vaper and/or don't use tc I think there are better choices than a DNA 200 mod out there. The DNA 200 chip is great, but it is complicated and requires the use of computer software to have it function optimally. Better to go with simpler mods that have all the parameters accessible on the device itself.
