here's the deal: i have smok alien 220w. i know the mod is great, but for me it's size too. so i desided to exchange it in HCigar vt75 nano. is it a good deal for me? besides i never used it over 70-80 watts. so, please tell me am i doing a good deal?

One potential downside might be battery life, and it MAXES at 75W (no ceiling at that level).

Honestly, if you're regularly vaping in that area, I'm not sure I (just me) would recommend any single 18650 mod. Other opinions will vary, and rightfully so. We must each make our own educated decisions, and this would be no exception to that rule.

so if i like compact design, i don't vape much (smok alien 220 battery lasts me almost 3 days), and i don't vape over 70-80 watts... it means i should go for it roght? and this dna chip, is it THAT good?

The DNA75 is an excellent chip, but I've never pushed it anywhere near the full 75w so I can't say it how will perform in your range.

I'm sure there are others here who may be able to shed some light for you there. I max out under 12w, so I'm a bad case study for you. At my tootle pace, I love the mod (its design & hand feel are superb for me).

+ 1 from a MTL perspective. I run around 10 watts and find it a great mod. Ergonomically is a great size and feel, I dig the snot out of the battery door idea (a cool design IMO) and I like the look of it. For $50 I'm glad I snagged it up!

will there be big
difference between vt75 nano and non dna mods, for example smok osub baby, or eleaf aster?

For me, yes. I find that the DNA & Yihi chips (in particular) provide me with a slightly better (smoother & more consistent) vape than some of the cheaper ones.

That being said, the cheaper ones have gotten MUCH better over the past 2-3 years, and and now still quite good in their own rights.

The vaping times, they have a'changed.

One of my favs is the iStick 30.. Its cheap (around $20 now), lightweight, fantastic ergonomic feel and is very user friendly. Went to Willie concert this weekend and wanted to take a cheap, solid, good vaping rig in case I lost it or something, so put a SXK DoggyStyle ($10) on an iStick 30 ($20) and had a great vape all day long and if I had lost or dropped it or whatever would be out very minimal comparatively.

When it comes to TC I preferred the VT75 Nano over all other mods in the 60-80 watt range. The one mod that actually performed very close is the Aspire NX75. I got a pretty consistant TC vape out of it.

If you are only vaping in wattage mode there are quite a few very good mods that perform well. I personally would stay away from anything Smok as my experience with them has been poor on multiple occasions. Joyetech, Wismec & Eleaf are hit and miss. I have had good luck but many have not. Innokin has always been a strong brand in my experience. The Coolfire IV 18650 is a solid performer in my opinion.

So much to agree with here, DPL, Mr. Tex, and louie the squared. It's awfully difficult to give anyone an absolute on any vape gear, as we are, welp, all varied beings in the ways that we vape.

I adore the iStick30 (just bought a second one) topped with a Diogy. GREAT setup, and yes, nearly cheap as chips, but performs perfectly for the out and abouts. Is it DNA or Yihi comparable? OMG, no, of course not, but even these little lesser mods have a place in my arsenal.

And I definitely concur with the sentiments about Innokin. I think MANY of us have put our faith in their constant striving for safety and quality.

Having said all that, I adore the Hcigar Nano. Both of them. ;)

I have to be the odd man out. I like the size and feel of the nano but it has too many problems to recommend it. The battery door is bad, you have to be very careful to keep the 510 clean or it will not read correctly and battery life is not great. I own 3 Aliens and would never trade one for a nano.

Agree on all counts. There are threads on the Evolv forum on rebuilding the 510, mine is clean but reads ohms off enough to make TC vaping not good. I don't use it much anymore, never a favorite here.

Over not liking a same mod as someone else? I mean, I know the world's gone mad with over-sensitivity, but that might construed as a sign of the apocalypse.

Besides, mods are pretty tough. I think they can handle it.
