For me, yes. I find that the dna & Yihi chips (in particular) provide me with a slightly better (smoother & more consistent) vape than some of the cheaper ones.

That being said, the cheaper ones have gotten MUCH better over the past 2-3 years, and and now still quite good in their own rights.

The vaping times, they have a'changed.
thank you my friend for a exeptional answer. your advise will help me. (i didn't even know vaping existed 2-3 years) :D

This is in no way true though:
"Herbert Gilbert and his “smokeless non-tobacco cigarette” made vaping popular"

It's not like a commercial product based on Gilbert's design was ever available.

I agree. Besides, we all know that it was Kat's bling that truly made vaping popular.

Welp, there were (are?) these, his own 1963 brand of disposables.

I've been reading 25 pages of bad battery threads. I had wishfully thought by now Hcigar would have fixed the battery screw issue. I've never used TC and have no clue how to use it. I do make my own coils using SS316L and they usually read .5 to .75 ohms and I vape at 18-25 watts. I guess my question is will TC produce a better vape and what kind of battery life am I looking at? Cheers

I prefer TC over standard wattage mode. I get a more consistant vape from start to finish. Regarding the threads, my VT75 and VT75Nano both had decent threads when I got them. I was acrefull when removing and replacing the battery door for the first couple months and the threads are now really smooth. Battery life depends on how much you vape. I chain vape most of the time at 50-60 watts and go through two Samsung 30Q's in a day on both of my VT75's.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll take the leap and order one. Do you thinking I'll need to use TC when vaping at 25 watts? I certainly need to download the manual and learn how to use TC. I can go the day using my Provari Radius so I should be able to do same with the nano.

I told you, Ping - it's just the red ones that are problematic. That should have been clear from your readings too.

So, don't get a red one (which I believe is something you already earlier, ya?).

Missed me, didn't ya? :D

How could only red nanos have issues with a screw? I was speed reading sort of. So when they make the red ones Hcigar puts in crappy screw's? They must be custom orders. Maybe I'll get lucky and have the crappy screw's in my charcoal nano.

Ok anyone with a charcoal nano with defective screws please come forward.

This, sir, is the new "Mystery of the quotient", as Led Zeppelin (not to be confused with Puf) might have put it.

And I hope you didn't miss the small print ^^^^^

I need proof. We need a pole. I do love Snickers though. Yummy.

The proof lies in the back pages of this somewhat messy situation. Crazy as it sounds, it's true.

I have NO idea how or why, but it truly was something with the run they did in red. It may be relevant but they released the colors at different times, in separate runs (charcoal & gold came out at the same time).

Dig as you may, and as we had, none outside of the red had the same condition (VERY dangerous battery caps when new). One poor guy got his stuck so bad he lost the mod. He's around, and may pipe in, but I don't want to put him on the spot. We all felt very bad about that (I still do, actually).

Mine is fine now. I kept using it and using it, and now the threads are fine. Kat's too, but they needed to be broken in.

Confusing & strange, absolutely. :vapor:

Only the red (YSNY). And yes, as DPL said, they DO break in, and kwite nicely, I may add. It's a game of time and patience. Let's see who wins.
