Well my HCigar VT75 is going back to Vapenw, I am guessing the usb port is shot, it would show it was charging by the led and battery symbol, but it never actually charged, and then yesterday it doesn't even recognize I have plugged in the usb cable anymore, I was going to live with just swapping out batteries, but now I can't even connect to escribe or do updates, it is going back to be replaced.

Will hate being without one for 7-10 days, as do really like the mod, just I was unlucky one to get a dud :(

Crap. That sucks, man. I guess I should connect mine to the PC and make sure it works, now that you mention it. Been bound to a Mac these last few days, and haven't had a chance to do the setup. Good to know VapeNW will be taking it back!

does escribe recognize the device with a different cable? if so, there is an option under the 'mod' tab inside of 'manufacturers settings'. there's a box that u check if you're using an external battery charger. with that box checked, it disables the onboard charger. you still get the lightening bolt in the battery bar on the screen but doesn't allow for a charging cycle. there's also an option in device monitor under 'diagnostics' to enable or disable usb charging.

When it did recognize the usb cable plugged into it, I clicked 'enable usb charging', made no difference, and tried a lot of different usb cables and none work on it anymore.

Just some info to those using this in TC mode.

I tested my Mod Resistance for the VT75 last night, and came up with the value 0.004/0.005. I decided on an average of 0.0045 as my Mod Resistance, and my resistance readings have been pretty much spot on with what it should be.

HCigar has a habit of not preconfiguring this value for us, or letting us know what it is (though, to be fair, it could differ slightly from device to device). But it's extremely important to have if you're trying to get an accurate TC vape experience.

If you've been seeing a slightly higher resistance reading on this mod versus other mods, this is why, and this is how to fix it! :)

Thank you for posting this Nailz. It may save people from the fate that I endured (oh wooo is me lol) I ordered the efest from which there is still a bad taste in my mouth. Comon Lg/Panasonic!

I agree about the efest, normally I wouldn't touch efest batteries, but mooch passed the green efest 26650's and beleive they are actually the same batteries as the MXJO's, as all stats match on them.

Wow. I really like this mod. I thought it was going to be bigger because the size of a 26650 but it's not bad at all. I traded my buggy Sig213w and what a great decision! I love the way this bad boy vapes, it feels powerful.

Has anyone seen the "guts" of ah Hcigar VT75?
I'm wondering if they have implemented secondary switches to achieve the vertical allignmnet or if they are getting a special edition of the Evolv board.

Every photo I've seen from Evolv shows the horizontal on-board switch alignment.

I much prefer the vertical orientation but I'm curious as to how Hcigar acheieved it.

    ecig.com has the black VT75 for $84 MDAY20 makes it $67 shipped
I took advantage of that sale yesterday. I ordered a Black VT75 (would have preferred the Red, but Black was all they had) along with a VT133. The grand total shipped was $137.59. Seems like not too long ago the VT133 would have cost at least that much by itself. Seems hard to believe I bought two DNA chipped mods (DNA200 and DNA75) for less than $140 shipped.

    Cheers,
    Steve

I almost lost that center screw on the battery cap because I didn't tighten it down, so be careful. When that happened I began to wonder what the other identical screw is or does on the bottom of the mod? I need someone to open up this sucker, come DJLsb Vapes!
Thanks for the heads up, I appreciate it.

    Cheers,
    Steve
