Headache question

I've been vaping now happily for a month now. I am a recovering wounded soldier having endured numerous surgeries over the last seven years. With that comes pain. Something I accept and just move on.

But I had to stop smoking due to another surgery I had in the beginning of March. So I turned to vaping. I love it and the new freedom. But over the last three weeks I've been having pounding headaches. At first I thought it was related to the surgery on my eye. But I'm wondering if it may be from to much nicotine. I smoked a pack a day of Marlboro red 100's a pack or more or day. I'm juicing with 24mg juice.

Could this be to high and causing the headaches? Or do I get to have them cut my head open again?

I got headaches when I started vaping as well. Are you smoking as well as vaping? I did and was getting too much nicotine. You could be over nic'ing. Try some lower nic juice and see if that remedies the headaches and drink more water if you're not already. Hydration is key when vaping due to it's dehydrating properties. Thank you for serving our country! Good luck and Happy Vaping!

I had headaches during weeks 2-4 of my 'transformation' from smoking to vaping. Frankly, to this day I'm not sure if it was too much nicotine or too little, or maybe just weening off all the junk in cigarettes.

My headaches were more dull than 'pounding' though... so that's a little different.

Anyway, I'm sure you are aware enough to go see a doctor if you feel it gets out of hand.... not relying on a blog for medical advice. I do hope the VA is giving you the quality of treatment for all of your issues that you deserve for what you've sacrificed.
