I have been vaping for about six months and also smoking about a pack of cigs per week. In the past month or so my breathing is worse and in the last couple of days have developed very itchy skin. I have recently tried different juices (the past month),some from China, so I think that is the problem. Has anyone else had similar reactions?

I have read other threads about itchy skin and painful skin reactions. So you are not alone.

Like for most such reactions, there isn't much you can do but try to identify the culprit. If everything was fine at first, I would revert to the "old" juices for a few weeks and see what happens.

If it stops, be careful in trying new juices and do it one at a time...If it doesn't get better try PG only, VG only and in desperation smoking alone.

Good luck!

I have not had a problem with vaping, but I am using zero nicotine juice.

I tried to stop smoking using the patch. I was following the program and had even stepped down to a lower mg patch. My skin started turning red in the place where the patch was. When I removed the patch there would be a red square in the exact shape of the patch. I was also experiencing the itchy skin. I called nicoderm support and they told me to stop using it. I was disappointed, I wanted to follow the program though, but they said the only recommendation they could give me was to discontinue use of their product. I had used it for a long time without issue, but then I started reacting to it. What happened is the nicotine had built up in my system to the point I started having a reaction to it, some sort of nicotine poisoning.

If it can happen with the patch, I would say a similar reaction could happen with other products that contain nicotine.
