Heathers Heavenly Vapes *Dissapointment*

Just received two of their flavors (ButterRum and Vanilla Dream) for my wife who finally decided to give up smoking as all she could say was she wanted something sweet. So I went along with a few vendors based on forum members suggestions and this vendor....

What an absolute disappointment. They have such an overwhelming smell of alcohol it's enough to made you puke. Even steeped these babies for 3 days cap off and 4 days cap on.

The last liquid I had that smelled like that I ended up dumping as it kept the smell for 4-5 weeks after even with the lid off for adequate steeping.

Such a shame!

Yea 3 days without cap and 4 with cap. I would have expected for some of that alcohol smell to dissipate but it's just as strong as day one. Not to worried about it my garbage disposal seemed to like it lol

One more vendor to put up there with AIV that is extremely over hyped with sub par liquid.

This just shows how incredibly subjective juice reviews can be. Everyone has a different palate and one person may love a certain juice while another gags on it. It's all trial and error in a way finding the juices we like and that make our taste buds want to dance.

Absolutely. I've tried several juices that people here can't seem to get enough of, and don't like them.
And I've tried others that you never hear anything about and the vendor isn't very popular or talked
about, and love them. There are a zillion places to buy a zillion juices from, and what works for one
doesn't work for another. The important thing is we stay off stinkies right?

that is too bad I have tried hoosiers juice, I really liked their smarties flavor, if your wife is wanting sweet

I absolutely agree just was posting to add my two cents for anyone who may be looking into HHV. It's nice to have information from those who do and don't like it instead of a one sided argument.

How large were the bottles? Also one of the flavors literally has alcohol in the name could the smell somehow be associated with the flavoring used, rather than mixing agents?

Also you never mention actually trying the juice, just that it smelled bad, as crazy as it sounds did you actually try to vape it? Or did you just smell it, steep it, smell it and pitch it?

I just ask because every sample i've tried had been amazing from sweet stuff to their tobaccos, literally made juices from other popular slightly cheaper vendors seem like vaping chemicals.

To each their own but i wouldnt give up on HHV quite yet.

I saw a video review by some famous vaper guy of various Halo juices, a couple of which I happen to love. He wasn't impressed by them at all, and he tasted things that I don't taste.

As they say, YMMV.

Me, I haven't tried HHV yet but I've got some samples on the way and I really look forward to checking 'em out.

Hi xploit, sorry to hear about your bad experience. Heather's is usually very well regarded by people on the forum. I order from there frequently and have not had anything negative. Heathers is really strong in the tobacco flavors, I have not tried the others (except vanilla dream, meh!) . I had a similar experience with AIV. Tried the sampler to see what the hype was all about but was not overly impressed. If the wife wants something sweet and unique I might suggest Pchela famous five layer from Mom&Pops it is a dessert type vape.

It tells you the most voted e liquids in categories. HHV seems to be the most voted vendor. I would suggest getting a different flavor from them. I have used Legend aka shadow fax and I hated it at first but a few days into it I started to love it. Some flavors take time to get used to. Hope this helped.

The Vanilla Dream is like vaping pure vanilla. I don't like it on its own but is great for adding to other juices. Butter Rum is going to be alcohol flavored simple because of the rum flavoring. Those two are not indicative of HHV. For a good sweetish liquid from HHV: Crackberry and Razzberry would be good starters. If your SO likes pears, Nice Pear is very authentic right down to almost tasting the graininess of the pear.

You probably wouldn't have had any problem unloading them in the classifieds. Sorry that they didn't go over well.

HHV does some of their extracting using alcohol. That may be what you're smelling also.

Alcohol smell if in your eliquid will air off if you leave without a cap until is dissipates. Im not particularly a fan of hhv either.

Everyone is different, and I LOVE Heather's, but I almost got put off of them because of my reaction to Crackberry. It was nearly flavorless to me. The faintest juice I've tried so far.... but as they said, taste is subjective. I still have some left (because I didn't like it). Maybe I'll give it another try. Been steeping a couple of months now....

I do think Heather's is high quality compared to some other vendors, but to get a feel for them you may have to try out a few different juices.

For their sweet juices, I LOVE the Vapin' Chimp (Banana) and Heather's Heavenly Waffles. Delicious!

That's one of my biggest pet peeves with vaping. The inconsistency. You order a small bottle, fall in love with it, then order a big bottle of the same stuff and it taste like crap. Very frustrating.
