I was disappointed too. I've vaped many juices from several vendors over the past couple of years. I prefer sweet/dessert/fruit & coffee vapes (if I can find a really good mild coffee heavy on the sweet vanilla factor - still working on it, mixing a french vanilla with a much hyped caramel capp from my favorite vendor that just tastes like strong, bitter coffee with no caramel to me - working ok but not ideal).

Anyway, I'm using a KR808 iGo VV (similar to EGO but VV) with rebuildable clearomizers & heads at 1.8, 2.4 & 2.8 ohms (mixing them up looking for the right combo for each juice - I notice that every one has a sweet spot in a slightly different combo).

So I only tried 1 flavor from HHV so far and don't think I'll be back for more. I ordered blueberry muffin based on great reviews that say it tastes exactly like the real thing. Well, right out of the box I was relatively impressed. It was pretty darn close to the real thing & pretty good IMHO. Unfortunately, over the past couple of weeks it's gotten worse, not better. The more it steeps, the more perfumy/chemically it gets. That's why I'm afraid to order anything else.

Despite this, I will say that I'm very impressed with the company as far as customer service. That part was great with no complaints.

I understand taste is subjective and many people may love it. I'm just saying that I thought it was maybe a 4/5 at first and steeping didn't help - now it's more like a 3/5.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience

I've read good reviews for that flav as well

I haven't tried it but I've not heard of any juice starting off non per fumy then becoming usually the opposite did you check your equipment

also you cant judge any one vender on just 1 or 2 juice

so far I've had good juice from them but mostly tobaccos and also heavenly waffles all taste like described

Taste is so subjective..... Heavenly Vanilla to me was another vanilla fail that I would never reorder. The Tuscan Cocoa on the other hand was outstanding!

surprised to hear so many people not liking Vanilla Dream. It's completely awesome to me. Probably the best vape I've had since I started.

I know - usually juice that starts out perfumy gets better. Not sure why this one was opposite (BTW, I did order the blueberry muffin with extra flavor - like I always do from any vendor because I need a strong flavor - and with a touch of sweetener too). Equipment is fine - I'm using an 808 Ego style VV (Revolver iGo from Nhaler) with rebuildable Crystal Vision clearos - both of which work great for me. I dedicate a separate clearo for each flavor & top them off as needed (never go below 1/3 full), so it was a brand new clearo that I filled the BBM with.

However, I am very happy to report that I fixed the problem with this juice (for me) by adding just a couple of drops of french vanilla from another vendor (per 1.6ml clearo), which I normally use to fix a strong, bitter coffee in about a 3 part coffee, 2 part vanilla ratio. No more perfumy taste and now it's wonderful again (in fact, even better than before IMHO, best with my hardware options at 4.8 volts (highest option on my VV) & "standard" 2.4 ohm head in the clearo). In fact, I have to give it a break occasionally because it tastes so good now that I sometimes vape it faster than it can wick, causing a slight burnt taste which disappears if I give it a few minutes to soak back up into the wick.

The coffee "joose" that I originally bought the french vanilla in a mostly successful attempt to improve is supposed to be a caramel capp and gets rave reviews from others, plus it comes from my all time favorite juice vendor (KBV - absolutely adore their strawberry pie & chocolate cake, plus the watermelon is pretty darn good too even though I was expecting a fresh watermelon and it tastes exactly like a watermelon JR candy instead - but still very good - again, all in double flavor) but I don't taste any caramel in the capp, personally - just very strong, bitter, even somewhat burnt flavored coffee, even at my lowest settings of 3.3 volts and 2.8 ohms (which I don't really like because it's too cool and I'd rather my coffee "joose" be warm - I can't stand iced or cold coffee). I'm still looking for a great sweet vanilla mild-moderate coffee juice (similar to what I drink from morning til noon every day). This alone shows that I agree you can't judge a vendor by just one juice.

My problem is that I can't stand to waste juice so whatever I buy, I feel like I have to vape (no matter what). Frugal, I guess - I don't know. LOL. I don't usually like to order a several flavor samplers because that ends up costing me too much (in buying more clearos to dedicate plus I identify my flavors by using different colored drip tips, so I'd have to buy more of those too) and I just don't like to have too big of a "stash" (been there, done that, gave up vaping to return to smoking because it all just got to be too much to deal with - smoking was far less complicated, took up much less of my time & didn't take up too much space). I'd rather keep it small & simple with just a handful of favorites. OCD? Maybe, or maybe just trying to keep from making it feel like it's not worth the effort & give it up to return to smoking again. :)

Anyway - the point is that I'm very happy with my HHV BBM now, with just a couple of drops of vanilla added. I think it's better now than it was when it first arrived, which is saying something because I did like it at first. It's definitely very close to the real thing & quite tasty, especially to vape with my morning coffee, so I may well order it again and/or try other dessert, fruit and/or coffee flavors from HHV (all of which could be helped by a little vanilla if necessary).

i also dont like Heavenly Army and think Dragonfire tastes like raisin tobacco too sweet. Dark Horse i like. Huntsman is grassy.

i also got Mocha Smoothie as my only non-tobac in this order, and it is really good! all 6mg 30/70 may switch back to 50/50 as i thought flavor was better in nearly all juices at 50/50

I have the answer that everybody's looking for and here it is....

Try it....BEFORE you buy it!

To hell with all these online sellers! The only way to buy something that is so subjective as taste...is to sample it first...on THEIR DIME!

Only buy juice from your local B&M. They usually have juice racks and they know what their doing. I know what their doing. Their laughing at all the people who buy a pig in poke!

Should you buy anything from a netseller? Sure. Buy something that you absolutely know what your buying. If you want to buy a Kanger Tech Pro Tank 2....this product is not subjective to individual interpetation of somebodies opinion. It is....what it is. It's the same product no matter who or where you buy it. Now it comes down to just price. On line sellers will have a better deal generally.

But when it comes to something that is as subjective as taste....buyiing from an on line seller is playing russian roulette.

Homeish now
I Adore sushi! Doesnt matter the type. Love all of it(well assuming it's a decent cook and fresh)
I get hot sauce craving where I will literally take finger shots of habanero. Just cause.
I dont mind mountain oysters...but hate any mayo on my sandwiches or anything! PB&J should be pan fried.
Pulled pork should only be made with a vinegar based bbq sauce, while ribs are tomato based only and need at least 4 hours cooking.
Chili should be hot enough peel the paint..but skip any nasty beans.
Hamburgers are made with a blend of mushrooms blended into the meat...stuffed with pepper jack cheese. then grilled.
Fried Fish and cow tongue, both make for amazing tacos!

If you dont have the same food tastes as me...or every one else on this forum.
Take any and all ejuice reviews and raves....with a grain of salt. ;) Tastes may vary.

And as soon as a store with a juice rack opens up within 50 miles of me, I will!!

Must be nice to be able to do that..... :sneaky:

That's why sample sizes are the best way to go. That would be the only thing I would tell people 'The best thing to do'. You can always trade the liquids that don't agree with you.
