Doing some online searching for the real world pricing, the Cuboid is only priced about $5 more than the evic VTC Mini. For that price, getting the Cuboid is a no brainer.

Oh wow! That's good to know. I really like the tank design and the price point is definitely attractive! :)

@jseah I talked to our engineers yesterday regarding the flooding issue. As you are a experienced vaper, I think you must power up the tank in the right wattage range. So I am curious about the e-juice you filled in this tank. What is its proportion? 7/3 pg/vg?
Evan,

The juice I am using in the tank is a 90VG 10PG juice. The 0.5 ohm coil is rated at 15 to 30 watts, so I'm vaping it at 30 watts. I just refilled the tank and I made sure that I filled it to just below the max fill line and I still got the same flooded hit right after screwing the coil back on. I did notice that if I fired the mod for about 2 seconds, that was enough to burn off the excess juice. I consider it a minor annoyance. The flooding only ever happens upon refilling the tank.

So I'm 1/4th through my fourth tank of juice and the battery meter just dropped below 1/2. I'm using two brand new LG HG2 batteries. I'm pretty impressed with the battery life.

With the temp set to 450 and the power set to 30 watts (the coils stated maximum) the temp just reaches the preset temp after a long hit. I bumped up the wattage to 40 watts and now the temp protection will kick in after about two and a half seconds.

Also, I had accidentally set the mod to Ni mode and when vaping with the stainless steel coil, the temp never reached 250 degrees, however I could taste that the vape started to taste burnt. So I can confirm that the different modes do work. I had tried using a nickel coil in an Atlantis 2 tank and vaping in Ni mode works as expected.

With my Ni temp control coils, I normally vape at 500 degrees. However, 500 degrees on the Cubis tank with the stainless steel drip tip ends up with the drip tip being way too hot. I've got it set back to 480 now.
