Helio V3

So I've heard alot of good things about the helios, my local b&m had this helio V3 for $19.99 and the quality is great not cheap looking at all. My only problem is its only got air holes for a single coil...or is that for two coils but they must be made in the same side of the post? I'm kinda confused, I was in a rush and didn't notice this before purchase. So my question is, what would be the best way to build this? I'm not really a single coil kinda guy. Or should I just get it put in the lathe or mill and make my own air control for the other side?

Until you can redesign the hole situation... 24-26 gauge wire will place you in the 6-9 wrap range for a 0.5Ω single coil.
If "warmth" is something you enjoy, a 7-9 wrap of 24 gauge - at 0.4~0.5Ω, I find to be a good, flavorful build, suitable for a broad selection of juices.

I'll experiment on it with thicker wire. I only have 26, 22, and 20 lol but I sent the afc ring to be opened on the other side today, and I'm gonna drill it for dual coils with 3 holes on each side. Make my own helios outta this clone lol its really nice actually. But this single coil stuff isn't that awesome anymore. Lol I've grown
