Hello all. I bought a KGO kit a couple weeks ago along with a few different cartomizers and some Dekang 18mg Tobacco liquid. For the first week I still smoked, though less, and have now not smoked for about a week, though it has been and remains difficult.

After I started and decided it may work for me I ordered a bunch of different samples from ECBlend which got here 2 days ago. I let them steep for a couple days and tried 2 of them out this morning, and both were thoroughly nasty, though nasty with the same undertone or overtone. With one I dripped on an unused atomizer and the other I used in a new Resurrector carto. I'm assuming this is the juice and not that either of those devices need to be "broken in". Am I right in thinking so? And if so, about how much longer do I need to let these juices steep? Or I suppose it could be that the juices are just plain nasty.

I thought I had another question, but maybe I forgot.

Also, FWIW, I have used both the Smoktech EMDCC and the Stardust clearomizer. The stardust is pretty sexy and works pretty well, but I seem to get inconsistent drags. I do like the easy filling, being able to see the juice level and no leaking whatsoever. The EMDCC hits a lot better I think, and is more consistent. So of the two I think the EMDCC is the superior device, but not as sexy or hassle free. That is my brief newbie review.

I did just remember my other question though talking about the EMDCC. I got the clear one so I can see the juice seeping into the filler, but even when it is full (leaks out the bottom) there is still a little bit of white near the bottom (though not all the way around) so it seems juice isn't getting to that part of the filler. Is that an issue at all? I don't get any burnt taste or anything so I'm assuming it has juice all around the coil, just not to the complete edge of the carto.

Thanks in advance!

The biggest factor in how things taste, especially if you've just quit smoking, is that your taste buds change pretty quickly. You didn't mention what flavors you bought and that may help. Things I thought tasted good within the first 10 days may now taste bad & vice-versa. Never throw juice away as you may find it's great in a few weeks...

I find as a new vaporer, I need STRONG flavors - like coffee and red hot cinnamon.

That being said, there have been a couple of flavors that I just haven't been able to stand at all - Pina Colada and Chocolate Cream.

(All of the above are from Indy Vapor Store.)

I letting the ones I couldn't stand just steep for awhile, but, man, they were so bad I'm hesitant to even try them again!

I use an Ego Twist usually at about 4V with a Ego Vision clearo (stardust) or a BOGE XXL LR cart.

Keep at it and try different flavors. Finding the Coffee and Cinnamon has kept me off the ciggies - they'll hold me until I find other flavors that I like....

Hi E.L.
Had my Kgo for 2 1/2 months now. It's a winner. I only use Boge LR 2.0 cartomizers with my Kgo. Works good for me. As for juice, I like Johnson Creek Smoke Juice Red Oak 100% VG line of juice. Especially like the Tennessee Cured. Last order I ordered the same Tennessee Cured in the 100% PG. I will mix in a little pg into my vg to see how I like the TH.
Don't know about atties...never used one...but I read here that you have to blow them out & burn a little juice in 'em before use. I think it gets rid of the chemical that comes on 'em.
Happy vaping & keep comin back.
Your new friend Bullette.
