So I quit smoking about three months ago, and got myself a South Beach Smoke Storm battery and tank. Upgraded to a Vaporflo tank running at 1.6-3.2 variable OHM. I am not at all happy with the battery life, and even less happy with South Beach Smoke on the whole, thinking about picking up an iTaste MVP 2. Concerned with vapor production, and long battery life. Any suggestions? Also I am not made of money.

the MVP is solid, for portability (not sure what your lifestyle is and for around the house it's all I use the MVP is gathering dust)

iStick and a Kanger V2 or Nautilus Mini but get a "hollowed out sleeve" those tanks are just looking to get broken, we've given this set up to many newbie friends/family and the stick combe (just got one for Ed's brother a couple days ago was right at $35 for the istick and 25 for the tank. For 65 it's a solid setup that'll last you all day)

good luck to you!!

 This right here. The istick is a great battery can last a moderate vapor 2 days give or take, much better than the spinners I've used

Just ordered a mvp2.0 with an iclear30 tank, and a bottle of 50/50 from mtbaker for $60. Seemed like a good deal to me The bottle of juice was "free". Never used a top coil before so that should be interesting. Could someone explain what exactly a drip tip is? Thanks for all the recommendations guys!

Drip tip would be the same as the "mouth piece". For the most part anything listed as a "510 drip tip" is interchangeable within reason. Some are more loose and some more tight depending on the machining of atomizer and tip.

Ok, hopefully last question, does anyone have experience with the South Beach Vaporflo tank? i really like it but I have no idea if the threading will work on the MVP headed my way.

I have no experience with this company and googled their products. Seems they are not so forth coming of their product specs. Looking at the pictures it looks like they are simply re-branding ego devices to sell as their own. If you bought the mvp 2.0 that should have ego threading on it I believe. If it is a mvp 20 that will need a 510 to ego adapter and may very well come with one, not sure on that one. Either way you can make it work I believe.

I agree that the Istick is a great device. The only thing I do not like about the istick is that it fires a little hotter than what you actually have it set for. I tested it against my provari, MVP2, and VTR. Obviously, all you have to do is set it to taste and not worry about the number... but for some reason, I just had an issue with that.

Also, take the size into account. I have big hands, and although the MVP is not extremely bigger than the iStick, it is still bigger... and heavier. That is what I prefer.

Now... about the MVP, you need to know that it has to be relatively the hardest button to push on any regulated mod I have ever tried! But again, it is all relative. I have no issues pushing it, and I like the bulk that my thumb muscle has developed. So much so that I am considering a career in professional thumb wrestling.

All said... you cannot go wrong with the either, but my preference is an MVP. I never go over 9 watts with a 1.2-1.5 coil in a Kayfun. The battery never fails me, and it could actually be used as a weapon, if a situation ever arose! It is a sturdy little box beast.

Lastly... I suggest investing in a Kayfun type atomizer tank right away. You have to learn to build coils, but it will take all of one day to learn. I have been through boge cartos, clearomizers, protanks, rebuilt protanks, nautilus mini (which is fantastic by the way with that vertical coil), etc. I only wish I had started with a Kayfun. It will save you money and I have not had a better vape. I have no interest in sub ohming, so it works perfectly for me.

Just MY opinion! (Dime a dozen).

I don't think South Beach is a place you want to shop, IMHO. Read or ask around for the much better sites. ECF also has a Supplier tab up top. Most are good.
