Welcome eg-guy! The three biggest problems with Blu are:

1. Battery does not last long
2. Proprietary technology, hard to get supplies other than from Blu
3. Pricey cartomizer/juice combo compared to refilling yourself.

Some folks are happy with them. Since you already ordered, try it, see how you like it. Whatever works for you...:)

My neighbor who introduced me into the world of vaping bought one of these and still uses it. Drips with it too even tho it's an automatic battery (not sure If I'd suggest the same or not). For him it worked, he also didn't know about these forums, and he quit smoking with it. Used it a lot. The PVV def. helped. He's now looking to upgrade, but IMO I'd make the best of it. It's def. better than those bought at a gas station like the first one I bought. It can be refilled.

Well, if it's ordered, go ahead and give it a try.
You will probably move on up after you learn a little bit and
want more satisfaction. But if it gets you started and on the
right road...it's well worth it.
Come back here, read ALOT and learn and then next time you will
have a better insite at what you may want.
Glad to have you here!

If your friend has one and you've tried it, maybe it'll work out well for you. If it's not perfect for you, most people don't stay with their very first brand (I'm more of an exception I think). It's never a bad thing to have more than one pv. You took the most important step- you ordered!

Let us know how you like it and how it works for you.

If you can get your $70+ back I would consider these options, you will be much happier than with the Blu’s. I made the same mistake buying the Blu set up before I found this forum for my first ecig and now I have several mods and the epower is one of my favorites. Links below and they are cheaper than what you are paying for Blu’s. These are two trusted dealers from the forum, good luck. If you stay with the Blu set up I have the same set up and I am looking to sell and you will need extra batteries, let me know via PM.

thanks for all the feedback guys/gals i already feel like this was the best forum to become a member of : ).

I smoke about a pack a day, some days more or less.

so for now im going to read read read and gather as much info as possible about e-cigs. Most importantly im looking for an e-cig thats reliable, cost effective, and low maintenance that can quinch my nico-t cravings.

Ive just gotten tired of regular cigarettes, the smell, stains, health problems that will surely follow, and daily cost.

eg-guy, if you smoke pack a day, Blu batteries will not keep up with you. And if you buy their pre-filled cartomizers, it would cost as much as cigarettes, maybe more. In that case, get yourself an e-power like Cobra GT said or a Riva from http://www.liberty-flights.com (click 20% off). These are cigar sized, but you need the bigger batts.

Or, you can try Blu first, see how you like e-cigs, and evolve later.

Welcome eg. Give the blu a whirl and see how you like it. If you dont you will find an uncountable amount of great helpful advice around here on what to try next. Most of us go through a major trial and error period before we settle in our vaping sweet spot. Once you do find that sweet spot though vaping is a pretty damn awesome . Stick with it . Congrats on deciding to try the switch and good luck.

Yeah, as a pack a day smoker, those little Blu batteries are probably going to drive you nuts.
But if you have the charging case, it can be doable if you really feel you NEED something the size of a cigarette.

And those little tiny cartridges on the Blu will not last anywhere near as long as they tell you.
You'll probably be going through a bunch of those every day, and that get's expensive.

Buying juice seperately and refilling cartridges yourself saves TONS of money and opens up a world of juice options.

Most people move on to bigger battery models.
And most people move to buying juice and refilling themselves.
But you'd be refilling those tiny cartridges many times each day, and you won't like that either.

In other words, there is about an 85% chance you're not going to want to stick with the Blus.

But there is a subforum here if you would like to talk with people who are happy with theirs...
Blu Electronic Cigarettes

eg-guy, I myself started with a bu, I like the concept of the PCC and I didnt mind the flavor for it being my very first hit off of a ecig. Then I went to a Magma from Volcano E-cig. It was a lot better because I like a 510 atty, but the battery life was there and I got sick of charging all the time. So then I went to an EGO, and thats when I was hooked. In my opinion the EGO should be everyones first ecig, but it takes time to get used to the size of it. If you like what you get from blu but find yourself wanting more. Buy an EGO and see how that does for you. The EGO-Tank is a pretty cool concept for someone that doesn want to always have to mess with it. Just my thoughts. Good luck to you.

I would have started with one of the kits from volcano cigs. They make packs very similar to blu cigs, but they vape a lot better. Stay away from the carts though. The filler in them is not very user friendly. You have to fluff it and adjust it to keep the juice flowing.

Most people replace the filler in the blank carts with the fluval aquarium foam from pet stores. Then just drip your juice in that. It wicks a lot better to the atomizer.

If it's not too late, I'd return the blu. I honestly think they are a waste of money, even for newbies. Spending that kinda money on something you're just going to end up throwing away for something better, is just pointless in my opinion.

Hey. Well sadly I also did a mistake and ordered from vogue-tec and I paid some like 100$, and it was very bad first experience with the ecig, cause the kit pretty bad, the battery not last long, and the juices was most horrible that I ever tasted.
Anyway, almost all make mistake in their first order. I recommend you to cancel your order and to learn more about the e-cig and read some reviews here, before you choose your first one.

Welcome to the forum :)

ok so i recieved the blu premium kit yesterday and have been using it frequently. i went most of the day yesterday without an anologe but ended up smoking a couple, (i really dislike anologs their horrible). this e-cig leaves me wanting more nicotene, and for the price i expected much more. its very inconsistant with vapor production, and many times leaves a burnt after taste. its so... so... to me.

I just ordered the 20ml 26mg marl e-liquid to try n refill myself. Anyways, im leaning pretty hard torwards the joye 510 as it seems to have many mods available as well as the tank system. any input on the 510 to further my interest would be awesome.

I love my Boge Leos! I spent days prowling through these forums after picking up a Metro kit at a local tobacco shop-which my Mom seems to love-but I didnt! I know Egos are more popular than the Leo because parts are interchangeable in the Ego but I chose it anyway and love it so much that I got 4 of them. :) I want to be able to share with my friends and loved ones who smoke analogs- and encourage them to switch as well. Awesome Vapor has two Leos for a great price and the best ejuice I have tried so far. Im a noob so I know that doesnt mean as much as vet comments. I agree that you should find one you like and read as much as possible about it before buying. Ive read too many threads where people spent tons of money before finding their preferred ecig - most people have several! I plan on having a selection myself but like I said I wanted a couple of extras to help others and its easier to relate and understand ecigs if youre talking to someone who is or has used the same ecig you are using I think.
The Ego and 510s have a huge fan base with tons of great info and videos on here. Use the Google search- the ecig search never gave me any results. Good Luck!
PS Battery life is awesome on Leos!
