I started using electronic cigarettes about a year ago and went from a ....ty kiosk Smoke Everywhere, to a V2 standard, to a Volcano Inferno which what I am currently using. Today i took the plunge into my wallet and purchased a Provari Kit and also purchased a Pro-V Cartomator SS tank. Along with the 3.0 ohm carts and all the nonsense. Very Excited to receive this as i have no heard really any negative reviews on the Provari or the tank I got. About myself, I am an active duty service member in the Army, currently stationed in Hawaii. I was wounded in Afghanistan last year and am on my way out with a medical discharge. Other than that I can't wait to go back to Virginia. This site has already taught me a lot from lurking before registering and can't wait to pick up more.

Welcome to ECF. Sounds you got a good start on things. I was using a Volcano Inferno for about a month or so. I upgraded to a Vision Spinner earlier this week. I still love my Inferno though.

First off thank you for your military service. Shame that it ended in an injury but at least you are on your way home to Virginia.
I just received my first Provari a couple of weeks back and I love it. I had been using an ego twist, so I loved the fact that it is hefty and substantial. I also loved that fact that it is USA made and the excellent warranty.
I hope you enjoy it and enjoy being out from the shadows of lurking.
O yeah and I think the Provari circuitry is Mil-spec too. Gotta love that.

I have no idea what Mil-spec means, and also thank you!
It basically just means that the circuit board, circuits, and switch are built to military specifications and tolerances. So the circuitry is very well built, solid, and rugged.
Ah, very nice! I'm looking forward to messing with it, as I've never seen one in person.

I'm very pleased to hear that a lot of vets are vaping but not terribly surprised about it. The news about the effectiveness of vaping in quitting smoking is spread by word of mouth which seems to spread faster in our military services than through the general population.
