I just picked up my 1st e-cigs here locally in Houston the other day.
The ones I got were the Nicotek Metro Traditional starter kit.
I had been wanting to switch over to e-cigs for the past several
years but had been waiting for someone here locally to start selling
them.

Greetings from Canada! Welcome to ECF!

Metro was my first and they got me down to 2 - 4 smokes a day. I got tired (among other things) of waiting for batteries to charge so I found an 1100mah eGo (clone) pass-through and some Star Dusts. Never smoked again!

The 1100mah lasts me all day on a charge and I can still vape it (if I have to) while it charges. I love it!

At least the Metro doesn't cost a fortune (if you don't keep buying their cartos) and makes a backup for anything you advance to, if you find you need more battery. It is enough for a lot of people and you can save by refilling the cartos.

Relax! Enjoy!

Well, hello there, fellow Houstonian... LOL! I switched to e-cigs in Feb, started with a Greensmoke, then moved on to a Lavatube.... Why don't you check out this: Elixir Liquid - American Made E-liquid & E-cigarettes..... Located in Katy, if you contact him, you can pick it up yourself (it is a residence that he's running his business out of) daily from 5-9 pm. Or, you can order online, I usually get what I need in 2 days, 3 at the most. His Ectoplasm juice is to die for if you like citrus flavors. He also has some E-go kits, I think he also lets you try juices before you buy them if you ask nicely. LOL! Prices are reasonable, $9.99 for 20 ml, 14.99 for a 30 ml bottle. Enjoy your Metro but if you're ready to move on to something bigger with more choices as far as accessories and the ability to refill cartos or use a tank, you might want to check him out....... Good luck with the switch! :)

In case you are interested, the thread on the metro is 4081 so if you get a 510 threaded PV in the future you would need to get a 510 - 4081 adapter to use your Metro cartos on it.

You can refill the cartos so you may want to do that or just save them for a rainy day (last resort) backup.

Enjoy!

So far they seem reasonably pleasant, how ever the battery is wimpy.
Seems it needs to be re-charged every couple of hours.
Also when I inhale for more than 2 seconds the light at the tip flashes
3 times and then the power is cut off.
So what I have to do is inhale for 2 seconds, stop, inhale for another
2 seconds, stop, inhale for another 2 seconds, stop, and then 1 final
inhale, hold it for 2 seconds and then exhale. That is no fun.

Actually they were the 1st local place I found online last year. I spoke to them on the phone the other day and have heard lots of good reviews from others that have bought from them.
So thanks for another good review for them from you.
