Eleaf Istick Pico 25 Kit - 3.2K (no1indianvapeshop)

Most the stuff that @Baditude has mentioned in the page are available save for the eleaf invoke. I did this exercise so that it could also help some other vaper from this side of the Atlantic! I did exclude all Smok kits as per the advice of @Letitia
SO I guess what we have above is a fairly comprehensive list of all the stuff that can be sourced locally. So if you people can offer some recommendations based on the prices you see, we can arrive at the final part of the vape puzzle. One thing to bear in mind is that all the items I have ordered are still en route (and might be so for some time!). So the above exercise is not something that is urgent, it is more of the "eventual" state I want to reach with respect to the kit I want to act as my primary vape.

PS :
1. The zenith tank is only sold by one retailer at 2.5K!

If it were for me my choices would be the Asmodus Minikin v2 or any of the Smoant devices. Those would serve you well for years. The Minikin v2 would be a worthwhile investment, Asmodus still supports the chip with updates. If you are hard on your mods and carry the same one everywhere then I would go with the Smoant Battlestar, reliable and rugged.

I don't know what the big deal is about the Zenith tank..I'm old enough to remembr Zenith was the brand
on an old B&W TV set we owned..

From the above list I like the Wismec Rx 200 which I own or the Wismec Rx 2/3 which I don't and some people have had trouble with the battery compartment lid.
I like the Joyetech evic vtc mini which I own six of, I like any of the Vaporesso models though I don't own any I've read good reports about Vaporesso and as a whole they seem to be the less expensive in the list.

I note that the Kroma comes as a kit with that Zenith tank you want but I don't know anything about the Kroma or Innokin.

I don't like any of the Tesla products because all the ones I ever owned stopped working
when juice dripped into their guts.
I've read nasty things about I-stick (though I purchased a Lemo2 RBA clone last night..)

Personally I'd go for the Wismec Reuleaux RX300 even though at 4 batteries you could use it as a dumbell and at 300 watts you could use it as a microwave oven.., plus at 2.5k Rs it's one of the least expensive on the list. and the Wismec Reuleaux's or eVic VTC mini's 'cause you can upgrade the firmware and customize the logos

Addendum: Agree with Leticia about Smoant but have no personal experience with

What make the Zenith great is it is imo the first tank since the Kanger STM that is actually successful as a versatile air flow tank for new vapers to learn what they prefer as far as draw goes and has a good variety of coil choices to experimant with. Istick mods are great for beginners, dead simple to operate and the internal battery lasts for several years. The main drawback is there isn't much opportunity for growth in the older models.

@Letitia
Thank for your message. I am not rugged. I dont travel much and I vape at my desk staring at the computer, so ruggedness is not really a requisite. So from your recommendations, I am zeroing in on the Smoant (any of the ones listed?) or the Minikin (though is probably the priciest!). My existing Cascade tank is good to go with these, correct?

Isnt the eleaf iStick an external battery? Sorry, just confused when you state "internal battery"?!

@HazyShades
Sir, 4 batteries is a bit much for me. Just to get 2 batteries is proving to take awhile and to have 4 more as backup is a tall order though I have to agree that the price is super tempting!! How can the rx mini and the rx200 be so much costlier than the most powerful of the three?
So your recommendations veer towards the Wismec and the evic. I suppose any eVic I can find is fine right?
Kroma is an in built battery, so that is a no no. And between the Vaporessos, is there any specific model that stands out? Swag is what @Baditude lists on his site.

Well a bit about what I know about Tesla, I have the steampunk and it was my tester RTA builder, and it's all metal. I leaked LIBERALLY through it on multiple occasions. Like, all over it and through the 510 pin and everywhere else. It was FINE. And, I am going to say, like the equivalent of 4.5 mls sometimes. HOWEVER, I've also had slow leaks that I didn't notice and when I removed the batteries, they were all coated it eliquid. It never stopped working, it never shorted, and I guess I am WAY lucky, but I'm also extraordinarily happy that doesn't happen anymore but my steampunk refused to die, or even complain. I also like Teslacigs board, honestly, I consider it to be one of the more efficient boards that isn't a DNA. It tends to read a bit on the high side, and it also tends to convert power efficiently. The steampunk has an on off switch which I love. It only goes to 120 watts and it's Rather Heavy if those are concerns. With that said, teslacigs makes a ton of products, in various forms, including the oh so ugly (to me) Tesla Wye which performs like a champ for those who can deal with its looks. Don't get the dual battery PUNK (yeah, it's a different mod than the steampunk) that model seems to be designed for the self injurers among us, who wish to bleed while we vape. Seriously it is HEAVY and boxy and sharp. I think I vaped it five times before selling it to a dude who hopefully doesn't hate me now.

The zenith is a really nice MTL tank. It's got coil options 1.6 and 0.8 and 0.5 now I hear with the mesh coils, which I don't much care for honestly, I haven't heard the greatest things about the mesh or I have heard inconsistent things about the mesh. It might be the first MTL mesh coil, AFAIK but I actually prefer the 1.6 which is odd, but the Zenith (IMHO) doesn't have quite the airflow to run it at the wattage I would like and etc. It's variable air, but it's not that MUCH air. The 1.6 coil has a break in period of about a tank. Coil life on both of these is stellar, provided you don't over wattage it. IDK, I don't find the 0.8 to be THAT different from the 1. 6 coil but I am not raising the wattage ENOUGH to like, get what I want from it.

You would need to want to MTL vape.. IN your situation where you need durable equipment and long lasting coils, the zenith is the best choice. It's sturdy. Flavor is good. You will be able to (probably ) figure out what coils you want if you try both that come in the tank, (if you just give each one a few days, decide and order the coils you like) because they will remain viable long enough for you to obtain them, probably. It's an easy to setup, nice topfill, and definitely a solid performer with 4 ml capacity and good flavor.

If you want to go with clouds of vapor I am not your gal, but that is my input on what has been recommended. Etc.

Good luck,

Anna

The 300 watt Wismec is inexpensive because it takes 4 batteries. Few people need the overkill so it doesn't sell well = cheaper
If I was in the market for a new device (I'm not, I prefer to buy a few more rebuildable tanks now)
I would buy either the Nebula or the Target Pro. In fact I almost bought the Target Pro the last time I had an attack of Shinyitis but decided to wait until a more auspicious time.
Compare: VAPORESSO - Premium Vape Brand - Vaping Manufacturers

I do like the Wismec Rx200 but it uses 3 batteries and I only use mine once or twice/week

if I was a newb and didn't already own several I'd buy an eVic VTC mini.
My next mod will probably be a Vaporesso Target Pro..because I think it's handsome ;)

Cool, the zenith tank is a given then. I guess having a spare to my Cascade is always the plan, so I suppose that is a wise investment as I need one tank anyway.

But boy is the opinion divisive on the mod. Poor me :D

@HazyShades
So assuming that 2-3 battery setups are waaaaay off into the future, Wismec is probably not in the running. Its just that the eVic is so expensive. Maybe I should try a FT purchase on that. Vaporesso somehow seems more competitively priced out here!

You don't actually need another mod at the moment. Wait for a while, maybe there will be a sale or something else may catch your eye. I would recommend a backup tank tho.

Agreed. Will keep an eye out. I guess another tank is pretty useful right now though I am having tons of fun with my Vaporesso thus far. But I really dont see any sale etc out here. I guess it is still a fairly nascent market out here and if the differences in price between FT and local vendors is more than 200% it is worth a risk trying FT. Will take that decision (if and !!) when my eGo pro C arrives.

@M.Ali
Thanks for the information. I did add that in the comments, fingers crossed :)

Thanks for adding more to the mix :D
Just the Wismec is 35 USD on FT. So I guess I can give importing another shot. If the alie order goes through fine this can be the viable route I take to get my kits.

@Letitia
Do 2 batteries make any difference other than a longer time between recharge cycles? Or is there some nuance I am missing? Also 80 W is plenty for me right - this is keeping in mind the eventual goal (hopefully!!!) of a permanent vaping kit with my Vaporesso and eGo pro C acting as my other kits in my vape-arsenal :D

80w is absolutely plenty but you may need to carry a spare battery with you or a second charged set up with you.
