@Letitia
I swear I tried. For about 30 minutes, I tried the parallel coil - thrice but each time I got am amalgam of parallel and twisted

It was horrible, the final coil was not as smooth and well placed as I saw in the videos. I do not know what I am doing wrong, back to YT for parallel coils

But - save the best for last. I took my 22g kanthal and did a 2.5 id 5 wrap .33 ohm coil. And this time on my ammit, I used a new wicking thingie I saw on YT for the serpent (I believe it is applicable to the ammit as well !!). The guy had a video where he does this little bow tie which is then fluffed perpendicular to the ground and then he trims off around 60 off the ends and then just tucks the coil in. Given that it was just a 2.5 id, I used a 4mm width of cotton and did the wicking exactly as in the video. And the result was just stupendous. This is the best I have had the ammit perform. No leaks. No spitback. Happily vaping at 40W, which was quite warm. Dialed back to 30 and the flavour is just awesome! For the first time I can truly see why the flavour in ammit is so hyped. Maybe it is just psychological but my mocha is tasting awesome !! And besides the flavour the vaping is smooth. From 30 to 45 I am able to do it easily without any trouble. I am thrilled. It was so easy making the 5 wrap coil, I thought 22g would be a pain but it was fairly easy and the Norm mode ramp up works just fine !!
Yippee, yay
And I promise - tomorrow is the parallel 26g build again for the intake
