@Letitia
I swear I tried. For about 30 minutes, I tried the parallel coil - thrice but each time I got am amalgam of parallel and twisted :(
It was horrible, the final coil was not as smooth and well placed as I saw in the videos. I do not know what I am doing wrong, back to YT for parallel coils :D
But - save the best for last. I took my 22g kanthal and did a 2.5 id 5 wrap .33 ohm coil. And this time on my ammit, I used a new wicking thingie I saw on YT for the serpent (I believe it is applicable to the ammit as well !!). The guy had a video where he does this little bow tie which is then fluffed perpendicular to the ground and then he trims off around 60 off the ends and then just tucks the coil in. Given that it was just a 2.5 id, I used a 4mm width of cotton and did the wicking exactly as in the video. And the result was just stupendous. This is the best I have had the ammit perform. No leaks. No spitback. Happily vaping at 40W, which was quite warm. Dialed back to 30 and the flavour is just awesome! For the first time I can truly see why the flavour in ammit is so hyped. Maybe it is just psychological but my mocha is tasting awesome !! And besides the flavour the vaping is smooth. From 30 to 45 I am able to do it easily without any trouble. I am thrilled. It was so easy making the 5 wrap coil, I thought 22g would be a pain but it was fairly easy and the Norm mode ramp up works just fine !!
Yippee, yay :D :D :D

And I promise - tomorrow is the parallel 26g build again for the intake :)

In all likelihood the parallel won't be much different taste wise than the clapton wire. Enjoy your victory over wicking! RTAs are addictive so hide the credit card.

Did you ever get the AIO?

Yeah I did. I did report that earlier I think (I hope I did :( ). It is just sitting there :D
And whats more - I got the atlantis mega tank today as well.
Now I am a multi tank, multi mod, multi coil, refrigerated nic owner :D
Dear Lord, look at me, would you have ever imagined this - me the question filled fledgling :D
Here I come, dual coil RDA :headbang: (secret reveal : I have already short listed 2 - augvape templar and Mad Dog v2 - what do you think? :D)
Take it easy - that would be your calm advice, I know. Rein it in man :D

That I checked, the AIO is working fine when loaded with one of my LG HG2s.
They are dual coil RDAs right?! Unless I am still grappling with those plethora of terms :D
Any recommendations on the RDA front would be more than welcome, as always :)
Yes rda, I misread the post.
The original MadDog was okay, don't know about the Templar.

Actually no. Definitely no idea how it is the most popular. Its barely available in stock in our Indian local shops but that could be due to a multitude of reason. But I definitely didnt see any promotions on it in terms of it being popular and even on the local forums there is no great mention of it (save for some ads from efun.top!)
nth mod sir? What is n??????!!!

Hah. I don't understand a word...

Let's see.. my MOD purchase history during the last 3months.
- Joyetech Ego AIO Pro C = Keeper with 0.5 and 0.25 coils
- Joyetech VTwo Mini = Looked stupid = Sold.
- Joyetech Espion Blue = Keeper, plus too cheap to pass
- Joyetech Espion Black = I only need one of them. Will sell.
- Joyetech Cuboid Pro Kit = Touchscreen and side chimney thing isn't for me = Sold
- Eleaf Ikonn Total = Weird but beautiful, fits into the palm of my hand despite changeable 18650 = Keeper

Eventual purchases in the future:
Council of Vapor Tempest mod = 3x18650, dirt cheap and beautiful
Council of Vapor Mini Volt = incredibly small and dirt cheap
OBS Cube = Best looking modern style mod I know, and it's inexpensive
Ecofri Warriors Pulse Squonker = oldschool metal works, I need this.
Ecofri Gladiator = beautiful metal works, I need this.

Oh ..... I may be addicted to buying vape hardware -.-

Dont mean to dump on local YT vape channel but they all unilaterally suck. They are always promoting one thing or the other and never come clean about it. Not worth the hassle even remotely !
Not "may", certainly are :D Exclusive tanks????
That is a ton of devices not to mention the pipeline.... Hope I can resist from picking something from the pipeline list and head over to FT. @Letitia was right, need to lock my credit card :D

Tanks you ask.. let's see.
1 x Cubis Pro = little rascal, but belonged to the VTwo Mini and had go go = sold
1 x Kangertech CLTANK 4.0 = nice but coils are proprietary and expensive = sold
2 x Procore X (=Motor=Aries with just slightly different ornamenation) that came with the Espions
1 x Procore Motor from Ebay
1 x Procore Aries still in the Cuboid Pro package
1 x Smok Big Baby Beast Gold
1 x Smok Big Baby Beast Silver
(The BBB and the Procores all use the same coils)
1 x OBS Engine Nano Gold

Soon to buy:
Council of Vapor Royal Hunter RDA - for the COV mod above..
Council of Vapor Royal Hunter Mini RDA - for the COV mini mod

Not heard of any of them. All of them sound unambiguously expensive though :D
The Lost Vape Paranormal DNA250C is the only expensive one. Picked it up at FT 30% off with MAP code. The Intake is my second one for backup. HorizonTech Falcon I'm loving. Mesh coil is as good as the Pro Mesh but I like the af better on the Falcon. If you take a look at the Falcon only search for the resin editions, the original had some flaws (poor qc). The new ones are much better.
