I'm probably a bit different than most of the people here. I'm using my ecig setup to quit dipping. So far I haven't had a dip in 7 days and it has been working well for me so far for the most part.

I currently have an eGo C-Twist with an iClear 16. I did however just order a Kanger EVOD because I'm not real happy with my iClear. The wic it came with only lasted 7 days. It was pretty disappointing.

Thanks for having me here.

Welcome to ECF. Quitting tobacco is quitting tobacco. I only dipped once in my life, and was it ever potent. I don't remember what kind it was. I got it from some pretty hard core florida good ole' boys, that i worked with. But vaping got me out of a 34 year smoking habit.

There are a lot of helpful and friendly people here, so what ever You need to know about just ask.

Thanks for the welcome. I will say I haven't fully quit tobacco though. I do enjoy a pipe every now and again but I'm not inhaling and it isn't nearly as dangerous as my dipping habit was. I'm just happy my mouth doesn't hurt anymore after 7 days without a dip.

You'll probably be happy with the eVod after getting some replacement wicks. It's unusual for them to last only a week. I was getting a month out of mine.

I'm also getting about a week of good vapor from the eVod using 100% VG. Vapor seems to drop off. I'll try to soak them in PGA to clean the build-up on the coil and see if it revives them.

How do you get the vapor to stay under your lip? Heh, I'm kidding. Glad it's working for ya!

I like my (knockoff) EVODs. You can buy replacement coils for a buck and change if they go bad or you can buy a little wick and wire and rebuild them yourself. The hardest part is just finding the supplies - it's actually super easy to rebuild following any of the videos on youtube.

Howdy. Transplanted Texan here. Born in Odessa, grew up in Big D. You'll probably like the evod, love mine. I don't get more than a week out of mine, but I use some heavy, dark juice most of the time. The kanger's are really easy to rebuild though. I can make a months worth in 15 - 20 minutes, costing next to nothing. Welcome to the Forum, good luck on quitting (it all!?), Power Up and Vape On!

there are a lot of local shops. but you will have to come up to the dfw area. I don't think there are any of them in the midland area. check out dfwvapor.com and when you google try doing (vape shops in midland Tx)

Yeah i go to dfw a lot, if you happen to be in Hurst, head up to ppv. They have a pretty good selection of ecig products. There is another B&M called The vapor bar, they have about 6 stores around the dfw area.

+1 for Bill's post. I just did my first rebuild on my evod a day or two ago... easy (IMO) and awesome. If you are technically inclined and willing to try, take a look around for info. I also posted up in Erichill78's thread about Quick ekowool question and I put a few pics up, and some of my thoughts on rebuilding the evod, they might be handy.

Good luck, and welcome to not smoking any more!!!
