Hi to all from Missouri. I WAS a 30 year smoker. I bought my first ego starter kit. After 3 days put down the 2 pack a day habbit. That was almost 7 months ago. Everything I have learned (which feels like a lot) is thanks to this site and youtube mostly. The closest B&M is over an hour drive so most all supplies, batts. Etc.. are purchased online after lots of research.
I started with an ego twist and Pt2. I bought 10 coils and soon was rebuilding them. I failed to mention my wife, after seeing how easy I put down the smokes said she wanted to try it, So I ordered her the same rig. Along with more pt2's and pt2 minis. Wont buy the mini again but we are happy with the pt2. This month I bought my first mod, a k101, efest 18650 35A 2500 Mah batteries, niitecore intellacharger (i2), and my first dripper, nimbus 4 hole clone. (No starter kit this time), I have built a couple sub ohm coils .83 for it only to vape it a bit, then build it again differently. I change up the wraps, change the kanthol size. Change the wick material, i started with single coils (day 1) to now duel and dipping into sub ohm. I always used "peaches and cream" cotton yarn from wally world on my pt2 builds. With the "Chimbus" I have started using organic cotton balls. I even used the cotton balls on some pt2 builds last night.
I also mix my own juice and have pretty much since I started vaping. I'm all about "the most Bang for the buck". My wife just calls me a tightwad. HaHa
Okay, so i am now thinking my chimbus air holes need opened up a little as my my vapor is scorching hot at lower resistance(es). What I haven't found an answer for is this. Do I enlarge all 4 holes or just 2, or is it just personal preference? The draw is already so airy I can only do lung hits and I prefer mouth to lung so I am leary of making it worse. Any tips and advise are welcome.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

This month I bought my first mod, a k101, efest 18650 35A 2500 Mah batteries
Just an FYI. Efest is known to mislabel their batteries.

If your batteries are the purple Efest 18650 2500mAh 35A batteries -- they are not 35A continuous. They are really rebranded LG18650HE2 2500mAh 20 amp continuous batteries.

Here is another warning that was posted on ECF regarding another purple Efest battery: Efest 3100mAh battery caution

Lung hit is the only option already so I want to cool the vapor on lung hits.

If you are handy with a solder iron you can close up a couple holes, even if only partially(But that won't help with the heat). If you just want to cool the vapor, wrap higher ohm coils to put on it.

What part of the state are you in? I'm down here in Semo, and just learned that Roar vapor has a store front in Jackson, TN. Not exactly super close, but it's inside of 2 hours away and before I thought there were none.
