Just wanted to say hello to my vapor pals! I have been vaping for a month now and couldn't be happier. I was wondering if there's any meet ups for West Palm? I see one for Ft.Lauderdale, but that's quite a drive for me.

Hi! Welcome to ECF and the Florida Vapers! Yes, there is a South Florida Vapers group! 
We have vape meets once a month in Fort Lauderdale. Our next vape meet is on Sunday, August 26, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Maguires Hill 16 Irish Pub, 535 No. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. Bruce from Clouds of Vapor will be there. We also have free raffle prize giveaways around 3 p.m. You can also friend us on facebook under South Florida Vapers to stay informed of upcoming vape meets and view photos of our prior vape meets. Sorry, but I do not know of any groups meeting in West Palm Beach, but we really aren't that far from there...maybe 45 mins? Anyhow, I hope you can make it sometime.

Hi SGorman!! If you can do the drive I would highly recommend it. Groups are a bit spread out and I drive about 1.5hrs to our monthly meets but TOTALLY worth it. Really good times...people you instantly have something in common with plus - all the vape goodies <3 Really good stuff! Hope you can make the next S. Fl meet as I'd bet $$ you'd have a blast.
Thanks, Laurel, and yes. I am actually further south of the vape meets in Fort Lauderdale. It takes me about 30 mins. to get there. We are trying to do them in Broward County so that people in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach (Tri-County area) can try to come out. Bruce from Clouds of Vapor is actually from Boca Raton. Some are from way South.
I haven't heard of anything closer to your area, but I would definitely recommend making the trip to Fort Lauderdale if you can swing it. We've got a great venue that lets us meet, Bruce and Justin from Clouds of Vapor with a good selection of stuff and expertise they're more than willing to share, and a growing group of awesome people. And a free raffle! I know the drive can seem tedious, but I'm certain you'd find it well worth your time. With so few vapers in the wild, it's refreshing to me just to see people in the flesh that do what I do and get excited about the same things.
I hope you can make it, mecocina. Maybe your budget will work if you win one of the many raffle prizes we are going to be giving away for free!
Hey SGorman1202, HELLER ALL FLORIDIANS, LET ME HEAR YOU...!!! We're W.P.B/PBC, here in Palm Springs!!! We've (I/Hubby) been vapers awhile. What age demo are u from, me/40's, Hubby(SilverVaper61)/50's & shop exclusively online. I ask because our son in his twenties/that age demo are raging vapers & hookahs, but as w/everything at that age is underground unless u run in their circles, nothing formal I've seen. WHERE IN FLORIDA IS VAPERCON 2013, I CAN'T REMEMBER?!

The cross generational aspect is something I'm loving about vaping. 2 weeks or so ago we had a meetup in Melbourne. We had that exact age spread at the table. It was pretty cool really. I did notice that the older couple liked the KISS philosophy with basic batteries and simple cartos. It was the younger to middle aged crowd that had all the gadgets and gizmos a-plenty as well as the whozits and whatzits galore.
Really looking forward to VapeStock. As soon as I get into work and have a free moment I will be calling to book my room. Going to head over Thursday night after work (Starting soon I have Fri/Sat as days off) ... going to spend the day Friday enjoying the Gulf Coast, then get things started Friday evening. Took Sunday off that weekend to not be rushed coming back.
Ok, you youngins', I'm 62 with a 40 something brain and I have lots of gizmos. Currently, sporting a hot pink silver bullet w/ a beautiful bella tank. Just ordered an amber bombshell to match my new elegance tank. Don't discount us oldie goldies. I collect drip tips w/ matching attys as fashion accessories. Anywho.......just wanted to jump in and say "heller" back at ya and I too am looking forward to VapeStock 2013.
MiamiMom .......will try to make it to Lauderdale on Sun. Would love to meet more vaping peeps in this area, but alas I will have to sneak down to Ft. Liquordale (that's what we called it back in the day, it was the place to go) for meet n' greets. Until then, vape on kiddies.

Hey, there, VA Slim! I hope you can make it out! Well, I grew up in Miami so I didn't become real familiar with Ft. Lauderdale until the past 15 yrs or so. I knew every nook and cranny of Miami though. And I'm sure I will probably be vaping when I'm 62 too! I'm going to Vapestock also, as well as several others in our vape group. VapeStock 2013 will be held at the Holiday Inn Harbourside in the Clearwater area. Vapstock Home Hotel rates are great as well.
I looked up Vapstock, but talkin about where's Vaper-C-O-N 2013, I must have had the 2 mixed up then, but now I still don't know-I make myself tired sometimes LOL.
