Welcome to ECF!

You already have a variable voltage eGo. What are your expectations with a mod that you don't feel you are getting with the Twists?

I'd also like to suggest signing up with CASAA. It's free to join. We need all vapors to become members to show our strength in numbers to the FDA to keep our right to vape. Link to join is below in my sig.

Anyways, everyone talks about how great the VAMO is, therefore I wanted to give it a try.
Will be there no differences upgrading?

The Vamo is VV/VW and will take either 18350 or 18650 batteries, it also goes up to 6 volts in VV and 15 watts in VW. I have one and I like it very much, but I also have a 1300 mah Spinner and like it a lot too. VW does allow you to change between different delivery system and maintain the same wattage, the device reads the resistance and adjusts to keep wattage the same. To me the biggest difference besides the VW is size and weight, VAMO being bigger and heavier. You also can use higher mah batteries in the vamo which could extend the time between charges.

If you want a VAMO, I would say go for it, as for the Twist, if you're like me they will still have a place in your arsenal. Always nice to have backup. Another nice device I have is the Sigelei Zmax bigger than the spinner, smaller and lighter than the VAMO, also VV/VW, but it does cost more than the VAMO.

The protank is nice and is around $20 and the replacement heads vary in price depending on the vendor. If you get the gun metal vamo it might not look as awesome with the protank unlike the SS or crome versions Vamo.jpg

The AGA-T2 is a really nice and inexpensive RBA and I have one of those as well :) However, I can't comment on how it vapes compared to the protank because I first destroyed the mesh that came with it because I didn't think to use my stove burner to oxidize the wick and instead attempted to use an actual torch which destroyed my mesh oops! then the nicrome that came with mine wasnt the greatest so now I have to wait for my kanthal to come in the mail. I dont own an iClear30, but was thinking about getting one so I got nothing on that either lol

What bout the iclear 30 or aga-t2? How do they fair against the protank? I currently have t2 and mini vivi.

Iclear is a dual-coil clearomizer and I personally don't care for them--long story. Rebuildables are a different animal altogether and not generally recommended for beginners--unless you are an electrician and a tinkerer. :)

I really like Kanger changeable coil clearos--you already own one, your T2 is a top coli model (so is your ViVi). I suggest you try Kanger T3--it's very similar to ProTank in design, if not identical, and can be had for a fraction of the price (5-6 bucks). Get some extra coils and play with it--if you like it, you can move on to ProTank. Just bear in mind that ProTank is not eGo threaded, is bigger and heavier than the T3 and generally better suited for bigger batteries (like the Vamo;)).

APVs (AKA mods) are big and heavy and offer many features that small proprietary batteries do not. I suggest you visit our APV subforum and educate yourself before you make a decision to upgrade. Don't buy a mod (or anything else, for that matter) because somebody somewhere likes it). Read about prices, features, performance and reliability first.

That said, Vamo is a good choice, so is the Sigelei Zmax and eVic.

Good luck and happy vaping.

Consider the iTaste MVP as well. I have it, upgraded from ego twists. The only drawback, is that it doesn't have an ohm reader but aside from that it's a BOSS. Plus, the battery lasts me about 4 days and I can charge my phone off of it :p

edit: also, +1 for the Kanger Protank
