I just went to the evcigarettes web site. Wasn't impressed at all.

It's a little simplistic I suppose, but I found it easy to surf.

I had to edit this, because I sounded like a rude jerk the way I phrased it first lol, but folks shouldn't be so easily manipulated into paying more than a product is worth, just because it's from a website with flashy colors and bright lights.

But unfortunately it seems a lot of younger people, or those less experienced with the internet, are quickly fooled into doing just that. I've been buying products on the internet almost literally since it came into existence, I've run a few stores and helped with a few others, and know very well people are willing to pay more for less product, deal with lesser customer service, and wait for longer shipping times.. so long as the website is flashy enough.

To each their own, but personally I just don't see any point in paying a company more, for the same product, simply because their web design team took an extra 20 minutes, and slapped a black back ground with some white text, to impart a (likely false or facade) sense of 'classiness'.
If both the product and the return policy are exactly the same, you should have no qualms ordering from a reputable dealer who happens to have a simple website or order format.

Research will get you better prices and more reputable products, and the quality of web design, doesn't always convey good business ethics ;) Hope this helps :)

Hi Kitty...I have a plain old 510 push button...I've had it for three years...It sales now for a great price...Try e-cig express for quick service as well... I think I saw it on there site but maybe another one for $45.00 which is a great buy. There are other companies but I think they might have the best price but ck. around. I have many e-cigs but I still have my joye 510 and its more cigarette size and I can even get my husband to use it from time to time. Trying to convert him. Anyway, always been a fail safe ( not for heavy vaping though) ...I take care of it and its taken care of me for 3 years...The joye 510 atty's ( use the genuine ones, no knock offs), can be used for other e-cigs as you branch out...Good luck and happy vaping.

I understand completely what you're saying. Don't worry. I have a sense of humor, although it doesn't usually show up in my messages, so people here think I'm a serious old rude bitty with no sense of humor. All I can say is they're wrong about all of that. I could be called a perfectionist, though, and spend more time (when responding) making sure everything is spelled correctly, proper grammar was used, and enough details were included so people will know what the heck I'm talking about. Then I'll spend time after I've posted messages editing small details to make sure everything is right. I'm sure nobody cares, but I do. A lot of posters will respond with short msgs and abbreviations, and I'm sure some new users don't have a clue what they were told or will tend to misunderstand the responses by others.

I didn't mean that I form opinions about a company based SOLELY on their web site design, but it is much easier to navigate a web site when it's organized. That's all I meant. That web site seemed disorganized, and although I used that font on my own web sites back in 1996 through 2002 (it was a popular MIDI site and a popular celebrity site--they were the most visited Geocities sites, actually, so I had a ton of experience creating web sites and maintaining them), when I'm looking for vaping supplies, I want to find what I'm looking for quickly.

Goodprophets.com recently redesigned their site, and it's much easier to navigate now. They have very good prices on some things, so I've ordered from them.

Litecigusa.net is a little disorganized, and I'm not fond of that, but I like their low prices, the fact that they have most of the parts that most people buy, and they usually have those parts in stock, with the lowest shipping fee of any supplier and a rewards program. These are some of the reasons why I recommend litecigusa.net so often. They're simply one of the best, if not the best, vaping supplier out there.

Cignot.com is a good supplier but doesn't carry all the parts that a lot of people want to buy. Their site is a little disorganized, but I've bought from them and was happy.

Freedomsmokeusa.com is where I buy my liquids, and they have very good pre-mixed flavors. Their site is fairly easy to navigate, and their prices are very low when buying the 120mL bottles, as opposed to the 30mL bottles. They ship quickly by priority mail and charge $5 for shipping, and they have a 10% coupon code that's listed on their main page.

So, now that I'm really thinking about it, I couldn't care less about the actual design (colors, fonts, etc), but the navigation is important, so I can find what I'm looking for. That was the primary design element that I focused on the most when I built my web sites. I do agree with everything you said in your msg that I've quoted.

There is a Riva (big 510 battery 650mah) that has an led front (blue red and green I believe)

I know cloud 9 vaping has them but I thought I saw a USA supplier a few nights ago

GLOSS CRYSTAL 510 BATTERIES (CLICK FOR COLOR COMBOS)

There's no reason that this shouldn't work in the Joye 510, is there? In all honesty, I really don't like the look of it, at all... but I haven't been able to find another manual, black 510 battery (preferably with a large capacity) with a green LED light.. this is more for my husband than myself (I know, he's picky) :)

Anyone know of any parts or replacement/mod sites? I was thinking there must be a simple way to pop off and replace the blue LED the batteries have with a green one.

OK
No, they should be fine. A 510 is a 510.

Here is a black manual with Blue led...

As far as large capacity (EGO) with LED... I don't "think" they exist... not sure.

The standard 510 is a 180 mah battery. The standard EGO is 650 mah.

Edit: Opps, there is a Mega battery for the 510... I forgot.

Here it is with Blue Led: It is 280 mah.

I have never ordered from them, but have looked at the site a number of time for various things...

Check out MistressNomad's videos (can be found in links at the tops of the New Members forum page) about designing batteries and the ash tips (the LED part). You may get an idea from one of those videos.

Thanks Doc, we're not interested in any more of the blue LEDs though, just the green LEDs for now. I've been snooping around all day and so far I've been running into what appear to be some fake joyes with green LEDs, and that's about it besides the ugly green/'crystal', which looks even worse than the knock-off joyes..

Got green spray paint and some tape? (If there's a bulb at the ash tip end of your battery, that is...)

Hey thanks guys, I've found a few options.. the way I see it, the batteries are disposable (heck, the whole kit is really) but even if they are knock offs, at least I'll hopefully be using legitimate 'Joye' materials as far as the atomizer and filler/core material goes.. those would be the least safe elements (not counting house fires, I suppose) where knock-offs are concerned. It can't be good, if you're heating up and inhaling a lesser or fake filler material, which could contain any number of chemicals not normally found in the real brand.

So fake batteries or not, people seem to rate them well, and with the real cartridges and cores there shouldn't be any chemical related health hazards from using them to generate the power to heat the element. I think we'll be picking up a few :) Thanks again!

Well! It's a little funny, when we consider that someone earlier made a halfhearted attempt at accusing me of 'marketing' or advertising for EVcigarettes, because frankly, I am incredibly unimpressed with their 510... they're labeling them as Joye brand, but what you get is not at all a Joye. Beware.

I bought the kit with two atomizers, they didn't even look the same.. they were both knock-offs, but they were different knock-offs. They did great with their customer service, replied back fast with every question, until I pointed this out.. they've become oddly quiet ever since :glare:

Oh, I should mention their sales rep admitted at one point that they sell 'hybrid' kits mixed with Joye and 'Eastmall' 510 parts, he tried insisting that customers like using the cheaper Eastmalls so long as the atomizers were Joye. This is when I checked the atomizers, and pointed out that they were not even Joye brand.. nothing back yet, which is odd, because for the last 48 hours their response time has been within 20 minutes or less.

Edit- should mention here, that one battery came with a cracked LED that only lights up one half of the 'ember', and the other battery takes a few clicks before the light comes on, and ignition begins.

The atomizers taste foul, one literally burns, and produces actual smoke along with vapor, even when you have your liquid heavily applied. I cleaned them both a few times, got rid of the primer/storage fluid they were soaked in, gave them a warm bath in glycerin, alcohol and water. When I cleaned them the second time (after the first use), the liquid they bathed in turned brown-black.

The better looking atomizer tastes 'ok', now that it's been cleaned again, and so long as I don't inhale for longer than 5 seconds which is, of course, basically what they say to do anyway. But I've had much better results/vapor with other 510s, with no trace of a foul odor, even when I held their buttons down for a good 8 or 9 seconds. The other atomizer, the worse looking one, still smells wretched without me even needing to try it again.. keep in mind, it only took a single, 5 second ignition to produce that odor (and the color of the bath mentioned above). I'm of course not keeping any of the kit; just because one atomizer 'seems' ok doesn't mean it's safe.

Continuing my search... I'll be back with updates if the company attempts to make things right, and I'll be posting photos of these "Joye" atomizers soon.

Based on what proof? I seriously doubt you have any.

One should avoid insulting a vendor and claiming they have committed fraud based on little more than supposition. It is ethically and in some cases legally wrong.
