yes, but go even further if you get serious about dripping and get the Pyrex D/T... it is head and shoulders above any d/t out there in most user's opinions.
The glass d/t (pyrex from Theecigs.com) lets the juice go all the way down and fast, and no juice comes back up the d/t... i can't stand that. I used to take the d/t off every time i dripped because of that (and it getting humg up in the d/t, and to make sure it gets right on the bridge.
Less juice is always better, but not so little that it overheats the coil and you have lost your atty.
If you get flooded, blow out the atty and start again with a little less.

Actually "warm" is why I use plastic drip tips. Metal tips get to warm, plastic tips don't.

Thicker juice (higher VG content) can help minimize the leaks. Also not all dripper bottles are created equal. Some give larger drops than others. Juice thickness also changes the drop size. The numbers suggested are only a guide. Don't be afraid to base the number of drops on how your atty is acting. It's a lot more accurate that way and you'll get better with experience.

+1 for Icoth's suggestion of thicker juice. I learned to drip using high voltage juice from Nhaler. It's thicker than typical juice and helped my learning curve shorten and lessened the leaks.

The fiddle-factor is higher with dripping than other methods but well worth mastering considering the pure experience you get from it and the money saved on cartomizers and popped atomizers imo.

I like the 306 drip bridge atomizers with a Delrin drip tip.

I second the Boge Cartos, also. Both the 306 and the cartos are equally some of the best taste you will find. Leaks are minimal as long as you don't overfill with these.

Duh. I was asking what DT you used and it's right there in your first sentence. Thanks.
