The battery appears to have charged up nicely again overnight. It wasn't fully spent when I put it on the charger, it lasted all day and night for me. 15.5 hours and was just starting to get a bit weaker.
Today will be the big test, as my daughter, my youngest graduates HS. I thought last year was hard with my Son...I'll probably drown the fieldhouse in tears.

Judging from the pic, the 016 is both longer than an eGo/Riva and bigger around (diameter)?
Makes sense. otherwise how would they pack 2x the power of the standard eGo into a same size package. It does look like they managed to make it just a bit bigger.

I didn't notice that when I posted it. It's the reflection of the apple logo on the back of my iPhone
And yes, the big one on the left is the 016. eGo is int he middle and RiVa is the gold one on the right

And my personal update on my 016 (I'll let you know about my brothers if he has any issues too):
This thing is sooo much bigger than my ego & riva, and I love the rubberized outside seeing as I'm currently scratching the paint of my others.
It hits great and I only made it 6 hours on the initial charge and I haven't put it back on
I think....I'm in loveseeing how long it last will definitely let me know for sure.
I got all day from a charge from morning to late night,
takes me about 3 hours or so to charge with the fast charge ego charger.
So for me, its an all day vape for sure and probably more.. I am likeing it a lot..
I don't use the cone because I didn't like the atty, It just would not preform. Might have just been that atty.. I am using a 510 2.0 atty on this battery.
I got my replacement atties from Hoogs and what a difference. I wonder if its a good idea to run down the battery just because you can? I see people doing this and then reporting problems, I recharge them mine as often as I can, no more than 8 hours at a time. No problems yet.
Ok, I initially charged mine for 6 hours when I got it on the charger it came with. then took it off the charger around 6pm Saturday night (I was way too impatient to wait the whole 8 hours per the instruction manual).
I used it all Saturday night (went to bed around 2am, got up around 10:30 Sunday), and then used it all day yesterday (there were a few times I used my 5v passthru, I was mixing liquid and needed to test the strength) then at 3 am it finally gave me the death blink.
I plugged the charger it came with into my laptop, and left it overnight. It was green when I woke up (11 am, having the hubby home this long weekend is allowing me to screw up my normal routine, lol)
An hour and a half into vaping today and it's still going strong.
I should also note: I'm using a LR atty which should have a higher drain on the battery than a regular or cone atty.

I think I've isolated the issue. It's in the AC USB adapter. I powered off my computer last night, and was left to charge in the 2 piece charger.
Plugged in the wall section, then the USB charger into that and screwed in the battery. Left on the charger all night, the LED was still red upon waking. Fired up the laptop and unplugged the USB charger piece and popped it into the usb hub in my computer. Within 15 minutes the charger LED turned green.
This is day 5 and only once have I fully spent the battery.

I was told that the suspected culprit was the wall plug, so far mine is working fine, but my brother called and his wall plug apparently isn't working good, but he charged it last night in the usb fine.
After last night's experiment I tend to agree. I don't have any other AC to USB adapter to confirm it with. There in lies the problem. I'd really like to test the theory with a higher quality AC/USB wall unit to see if I'm right.
But for now, I'll just tap into my laptop to charge from now on until I can afford to get a higher quality adapter from hoog.
Yeah me too. Both myself and my much spoken about brother (he has an ecf account but never post!) want to order hoog's wall chargers. My husband only gets paid once a month, so I might have to wait til the end of June to do so, plus get a few other things I've been eyeing.
I'm gonna try my passthru's on the 016 wall charger too, just to see. according to the labels they're 2amp. right now I'm using my iphone usb/ac adapter for my passthru and it's working fine.
Don't bother...I tried that the other day and it didn't work but for the first drag, and then nothing. Mine shows an output of 500 mA so that is 1/2 amp.
There are 1000 mA in 1 amp. Mystery seems solved.
Hey hoog, what do some of the rest of the chargers say?
aaahhh, I see. Yeah, I'm pretty sure the passthrus need 2amps, so it would be a waste of time.
I also need to get my eyes checked. lol.
