I've been vaping for over 2 years. My equipment purchases have been based on duplicating what my Daughter uses.
I'm having bad luck with eleaf Istick in 20 and 30W with short battery charge times and battery life. I need to try something new. I'd like to spend less than $20. I have a couple of 18560 batteries that are nearly new i would like to use. I would prefer something that uses only 1 18560. Suggestions please

Start here, but don't expect high quality for $20. You might want to set your sights in the $50 market. The Eleaf iStick 75W for $36.95 is a good low priced mod. You won't find anything under $20 that's worth buying. If you buy dirt cheap you may end up spending more to buy the one you should have bought first.

Fast Tech (China) has the Authentic Eleaf iStick Pico 75W TC VW APV Box Mod which accepts a single 18650 battery for $29. That's the cheapest I could find from a website known for inexpensive vape gear. Expect a long delivery time of 3 - 4 weeks. (You know, the old "slow boat from China" thing.)

Curious. What 18650 battery (brand and model) do you have?

Are you sure the 18650"s you have are suitable for vaping use?
Are they name brand cells bought from a reputable source ( not eBay or the like) do they have a sufficient CDR to support the amp demands your vaping style creates?
Do you have a decent charger?
If you're not 100% sure about the batteries you have you'll need to add at least 2 new 18650's to your shopping list.

A $20 power device is most likely going to be from one of those sources that you wait on for 2 - 6 weeks to find out if you've been bamboozled or not.

Probably need to increase your budget to $40+ incase you need batteries, charger, 'tanks,' replacement heads etc...

Thanks, I ordered a 75W Pico off ebay for $16 shipped. I'll try that tank or it has a 510 thread, I could use one I have. The batteries are Samsung, I don't know the model, they're downstairs. They worked great and lasted a long time on a charge in a 100W Eleaf that shot craps on me.
Thanks all for replies

Depending upon which Samsung you have, the highest wattage setting you can use depends upon the amp rating of the battery.

Up to 45W: Samsung 18650 30Q, 3000 mah 15 amp CDR

Good luck on your E-Bay mod. That would be the last place I'd buy a mod from. Well, including Ali Express, too.

I'm glad you found something, not to be negative, there are used, returned to vendor and fake/counterfeit vaping products all over eBay & like sites. They would be the very last place I'd buy a power device & especially batteries.

Good luck on your 'new' power device, hope it works well for you.

Well, I've bought coils and tanks from fleabay tho everyone says not to. Haven't grown a third nostril yet.
I had looked at the $16 Pico but didn't actually need so I passed. I'm convinced they're clones but that doesn't necessarily mean they're junk. I hope it serves you well. If not drop me a PM. I shop the clearance pages all the time, have picked up several $10-15 authentic full kits sure I could helped you find something. Fingers are crossed for ya!

The sub $20 picos from ebay I've seen in real life were quite obvious fakes once you hold them in your hand (somebody I know ordered 2 of them and a friend of my brother ordered 1 as well, all three fakes).

If they are fakes or stop working after a short time and you buy a genuine pico for ~$30, then you basically spent $50 on a $30 mod...
I get that saving money and getting the best prices is a good thing but that way is definitely not a good strategy to achieve it.

Another lower price (~$40 on gearbest) great performance mod would be the smoant charon (it takes 2 18650 though).

You need to check the authenticity code immediately, (if you haven't before on other devices.)

I purchased a pico 25 kit from ebay, and it turned out to be that the mod was bricked, (frozen) and the "new" tank had two OBVIOUSLY rebuilt coils.

There are 99 things I'll buy from ebay but a cheap vape ain't one.

It's kind of a shame, you are most likely supporting cloners and fakers unless you are VERY selective or VERY lucky indeed all the time. I wasn't my first time trying ebay, so I have learned what to avoid.

Also, it's kind of a shame, for a few dollars more you could have gotten a much nicer, probably less risky purchase and have gotten something better, honestly, perhaps even without a huge shipping wait.

But, we get what we pay for, I sure hope that your batteries aren't fakes either. Vaping works best with a certain level of commitment, also "not growing a third nostril" is not really the standard by which I tend to evaluate my vape purchases.

However, I am (sort of cheaply) rooting for you, although I do disagree with your actions just based on my own experience. I hope it works out.

"I'd like to spend less than $20"?

For a mod?

Not to be rude or inconsiderate, but are you poor, or just cheap? Good luck with this inquiry.

:pop:
seems to be tough times now days. Yesterday I saw a gofundme thread for a mod. A lot of people must be struggling...

Hopefully you used PayPal for your purchase. I have successfully bought authentic RBAs and a mod from sellers on eBay. I made sure to inquire in writing that they were indeed authentic items.

I also bought what was described as the Coil Master V3 Kit. I specifically asked if it was real & was told yes. As soon as I received it it was clear that it wasn’t. I contacted the seller and told him it wasn’t authentic. He didn’t try to dispute it and paid for the Return Shipping. However as others have said I would never buy batteries on there and anymore mods. I was young then lol!

As soon as I received the items I checked the authenticity code with the manufacturer.

Using PayPal will guarantee you get your money back if you’ve been deceived.

Good luck! I hope it’s what you were looking for!!
