Cthulhufan, this is my main PV at the moment. innokin MVP with Vapor Skinz wrap. This will last you ALL day even if you chain vape like a mad man.

That is absolutely awesome (that wrap looks strangely familiar for some reason :) )!!
The kit is $69 an gets you 2600mah and is 510 compatible, that might just be the winner right there. I am not tied to form factor really so that might just fit the bill perfectly.

I recommend a gripper type box mod. If it doesn't have to be variable voltage, the Smoktech Gripper is only $16. You won't be crying in your beer should you misplace it in a drunken stupor. Small enough to stealth vape, or fit into a shirt/coat pocket. The battery will last at least a few hours of heavy vaping.

For a variable voltage option, the Ovale V8 is just a little larger for just $30. Available at Discount Vapors, they also offer a nifty leather pouch/lanyard so you don't misplace it at the bar.

I'm a newbie and I agree with Baditude. My first PV was a provari. I soon realized that I did not like carrying my provari in a pocket or holster/case. I picked up 2 mini ego's with vivi novas.. I keep 1 in my pocket and 1 at the office. If I go out on a weekend, 2 batteries but only 1 vivi nova.

The mini's can't compare to the provari, but it does the job when I am out.

Gluck with your search :)

Yep, you nailed it right there, exactly!

For that Vamo looks like this and a charger is all I need to get started (along with my existing 510 gear)?
VAMO Rev.2 Variable Power (adjustable wattage), Variable Voltage APV - Gun Metal

I'd steer you away from the gunmetal, there have been numerous complaints that the finish scratches very easily. I got my stainless one from Exhale Vapors when they were running 40% off. It was $46 shipped. The coupon code might still be good, it seems like it comes and goes. As for batteries, I got 2 each of 18350's and 18650's but find myself only using the 18650's. It makes the thing look like a light saber but they last almost 3 times as long. And yes, it's a 510 connector so all your existing cartos and tanks will work.

Why not just get a low resistance atty or carto for your 510 and up your nic level a notch or two?

My drinking/waking vape is some 3.6% liquid in a DCC and that does the trick just fine.
For me, personally, it's not about the nic level near as much as it is about going through the motions after a certain point. It's a habit thing. Drink, smoke, drink, smoke, etc...

Actually, I'm going to order some low nic (maybe 12mg or 8mg) for this purpose in the near future.

Anyway, just wanted to follow up on this post. I have ordered an iTaste MVP 2600mah unit and hope to have it this week. I went to my local rip off kiosk yesterday and picked up an insanely overpriced Ego 1000mah pass through for, get this, $35. Yeah. I knew what I was getting into and that I would be massively over paying. It payed off in SPADES. Had a fun night out last night with the boys and that Ego hung in like a friggin' champ. When it was toast, hooked it up to the laptop we had going that was playing tunes and vaped off of that. I had two analogs the whole time and that was just playing along with my buddy who couldn't believe I was off the death sticks.

Might have made a few potential converts last night. It was Epic. Here is a night I usually kill two packs (that's 40 smokes) reduced to two analogs instantaneously. EPIC.

Can't wait for my MVP and Ikenvape carts to get here...

I still have a head full of wool this morning from all that beer but it's not compounded by 4 hours of depriving my brain of oxygen and ingesting tar and god knows what else. I am so happy.
