I plan to buy the Efest LUC charger with LCD.

Can someone help me pick out the best batteries?
I want long lasting batteries.
I dont know the difference between flat top and button top.

Either flat or button top should work fine in it.

Battery size would depend on how you intend on using it. If you dont mind it always in light saber mode, you can just run 18650's in it, giving you nice battery life but a bigger unit, if you intend on taking it out and about you'll probably want some 18350's so you can run it in short(er) mode.

Most people speak very highly of AW brand batteries, seems most people get them through RTD Vapr. Efest also seem to be relatively popular (i was unable to get AW, the efests work fine for me).

Also, if they're available there, you may want to check out the stainless version. Its less of a finger-print magnet and the ribbing is a bit less obtrusive than on the gunmetal (100% personal opinion mind you, i have the SS one)

Also if you can wait a bit you could save yourself a little by going through Fasttech, theirs are about ~$36, you can get a kit with panasonic 18650's and a nitecore charger for around $58 from them, with free shipping .

Heres the link: http://www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10004394/1395801

fasttech sells counterfeit merchandise though. if you go to dhgate.com, alibaba.com, tradekey.com, type in VAMO V3 and youll see all of the counterfeits. fasttech also sells a bunch of other counterfeit merchandise that has nothing to do with e-cigs. i dont understand why everyone thinks its authentic

No such thing as a counterfeit vamo. They don't sell fakes, they sell clones and they don't try and cover it up because they have nothing to hide. Although I'm udderly ...... off with fasttech right now, due to probably loosing my vamo in the mail and having a small issue with support, I can give them credit for how they go about themselves as a company and how they change/fix information on their site.

The only difference between the Vamo your looking at and the ones at FT is your Vamo will display 'KSD' in the menu system.

Sorry for trying to help, im sure ALL the people who bought FT Vamo's and said theyre identical are idiots. Carry on.

Fasttech sell some genuine Kanger and Innokin products. If they are listed with a brand name, they are genuine products - as far as most members on here can tell (i.e they have purchased those products from known US vendors and were listed as genuine - compared with the product they received from Fasttech and there is no difference) If there is no brand name in the description, they are copies, clones or 'own brand' merchandise.

There is no such thing as a genuine vamo - there are a lot of factories making the Vamo units in China. If you think MVS sell a 'genuine' Vamo, then you are mistaken as there is no such thing.

If you don't want to buy from Fasttech, that's great and totally your choice but they don't sell counterfeit merchandise.

Just for full disclosure, I use both Fasttech and My Vapor Store for my hardware purchases and they are both great vendors.

People are trying to save you money. Instead of pretending to know everything you would do yourself a favor to listen and learn. I have not heard of anyone complaining about any fake Vamos from FT or anywhere else. All I have heard is some people who don't know claiming that FT Vamos are somehow inferior.

There are claims that NCR18650PD is the best battery, but I suspect that is coming from mech users and they're trying to claim that for all mods and that's not the case.
I haven't tested it in my Vamo because it doesn't have a puff counter and I bounce around between mods/flavors too much to keep track, but I'm showing NCR18650B is lasting over 100 puffs longer than NCR18650PD in my eVic.

I have used CGR18650CH, NCR18650PD, NCR18650B and Samsung ICR18650-26F in my Vamo without problem.
With my eVic the CGR18650CH and ICR18650-26F both give around 400 puffs. The NCR18650PD gave around 420. The NCR18650B gave around 550. Your results would vary according to what kind of drain you put on your Vamo.

There is a Vamo battery thread pinned at the top of the Vamo forum. It's always a good idea to search any battery you intend to try in that thread before buying. VAMO

No one is trying to force you to buy from FT their just giving other options.
I'm on my 10th order now from FT and to be honest they are the main place I buy from. When I first started vaping I bought a few vivi novas from a local B&M, I noticed some of the boxes he had in the shop had FT delivery stickers on them. He is selling FT products and he's doing a roaring trade.
Vamo is just a generic name, I've seen them advertised as Vivi Vamos, Bamboo Vamos and just Vamo.
I appreciate that you don't want to shop at FT and you're entitled to your opinion, we're only trying to help :D

FastTech sells Microsoft XBOX 360 controllers in the same packaging as the real ones. You think these are real?

Ok, since you obviously think no-one here knows anything.

Find me a "Authentic" Vamo v3 and show me PROOF thats its authentic. If you do ill send ya a 15ml bottle of MTbaker for free. You won't find it because there is no AUTHENTIC vamo, just like mentioned earlier.

Myvaporstore is literally selling you the exact same ones from alibaba that you claim are knockoffs. Prove me wrong.

Oh and Bill Gates makes all xbox 360 controllers by hand, look for his signature on the box and you'll know its legit!

theres nothing wrong with questioning FT.. I know I did at first.

But, they're not selling "fakes" of anything, per say.

    They're ALL "fakes".

UNLESS you are buying the higher end gear, everything is a clone of a copy of a reprint.

Here is a "Real"APV. THIS is what you would call, the geniune article. There aren't any actual clones that I know of, however.

Heres another example. Nzonic and SMoktech Magneto. Im pretty sure the idea was to copy the original design of the Nzonic, make it in China, slap a logo on it, and call it a day. The REAL Nzonic, is worth the price. The "fake" one, is ALSO worth its price.

The Vamo isn't exactly a copy of a geniune article. Its just another mod coming out of China with features we like at a nice price. I love my Vamo, it was my first Mod, my first real PV.

Fasttech is either selling clones, OR, selling generic non name brand/original designs, OR, taking out the middle man and selling to you direct. Its not "fake"

What does that have to do with anything?

I wouldn't know if they're genuine MS products or not because I don't know about XBOX controllers. I do know about ecigs and there's no such thing as a fake Vamo, deal with it.
I also know about FT and judging from how they are with ecigs if you'd ask them they'd tell you whether those controllers are genuine or not.

If you want to claim because FT sells some fakes that everything is fake, as someone else pointed out, you shouldn't be ordering the Vamo you linked either.

I bought my Vamo at a local B&M store and hang out there quite a bit. In fact I learned about FT from them because I happened to be there one day when they received a shipment and I saw the shipping label. Guess what? They sell FT's vamo's and other merchandise at the B&M. The B&M also uses the FT warranty if they need to. Recently I finally decided to try FT and made a small order of about $10 to try them out. I just received my first order from FT today. It is sitting at home waiting for me to get off work. One of the items I purchased was listed as the Igo-L RBA. Do i expect it to be made by Youde? No, but what does that matter if it is built to the same specs and works well. I am not vaping for status, I am vaping to keep me from smoking and all I want are devices that work that I can afford. I don't really care who makes them or who sells them, as long as they are affordable and they get to me. :2cool:
