help deciding my order

Hey everyone, I'm new to vaping and to the forums, but i have been browsing through here over the past 2-3 weeks trying to find answers, and expanding my knowledge of the whole vaping world. After doing a large amount of research and watching countless amounts of vids I'm stuck on my order.... I don't know if this order is right or compatible with itself as this will be my first mod device and I want to get this right before I end up loosing money.

This order takes place completely from madvapes.com for a few reasons one being they are 10 miles down the street so I can just walk in.

after looking through ECF reading up on dual coils and single coils, I'm very confused... dual coils seem to be best for VV mods because you can get the right volt and watts for the ohms, 2 ohm single coil seams to be on the lower middle for 3.7v. one down side is they are out of replacements for the nova tank so i had to choose the smok tech rct to get replacements... now here is a list of questions

1. can Ego tanks fit the bolt or will i need to get an extension/converter to allow it to attach to it?

2. is there something better then the bolt at madvapes.com that doesn't cost to much more(i like the design of the tube its easier to handle)?

3. should i get dual coils?

4. if yes to 3-- what ohms? I've looked around and people say its 2 coils at double the ohms it states... having a 3.7v mod i would have to get something very low resistance?

5. is there anything that could improve on this order? (such as a better drip tip? an atomizer for dripping? a different mod? ect)

6. is the acrylimax the same thing as the zmax just a weaker casing? (would it be better then the 3.7v bolt mod)


I'm new to vaping i have a v2 cig, already have pure VG (yes usp grade) and some flavors, but i want something better.. a lot better then the ego twist but something that doesn't cost to much (pref. from madvapes.com). I've looked at the silver bullet and the bb and they cost to much for me, this looks like the same thing as a silver bullet but i don't know if it performs like one. the provari and the zmax both cost more then I'm willing to pay to start out.

If i may, I know you said that you don´t want to spend too much but buy yourself a Provari i mean you will buy one eventually do it right now and that way you´ll save a lot.

the telescope mod looks cool but i will end up buying a few batteries to adjust the voltage, its a cool concept sence batteries are cheap'ish, i will keep it in mind as i do my search.

im just wondering, do you have a provari, if so what do you like about it?

Hi!

I just bought myself a Provari, hasn´t come yet. But I don´t know if you know this already but:

The build quality is excellent.
It is a VV (a precise VV) I know there are lots of VV but as i´ve seen in numerous reviews almost none is precise.
You´ll get the same vapor throughout the battery life.
The ability to check ohms.
I can go forever.

I think is better if you tell me what keep you from buying one (besides money, which i totally understand by the way) and i´ll try to answer or enlight a bit.

mainly price, I currently only have a v2 cig with a charger cartos and about 5 juices (10ml) with VG to add vapor, I will have to buy a completely new set either way but i want the most reliable for the cheapest price. #2 madvapes is local so any problems i can be right at the store in under 20 mins ready for a replacement.

My best advice for you is just check out this wonderful forum for the products you would like to buy and check what others have to say.

One thing that helped me a lot was looking videos on youtube so you can see vapor production, size etc.

right now im looking at the vmax, looks a lot like the provari at a lower cost, it may be an option depending how reliable it is, if anyone has any extra information about it please let me know... the provari, vmax, and the bolt

I agree. I own two provaris. And those are all I ever need. Truely, I only need one but I got the second because I liked the black satin color when it came out. So, I think you should wait and save up for a provari. This is why I say this. I started out with a cigarette lookalike then stepped up to an Ego then to a silverbullet then to a lavatube and finally a provari. Look at all that money I have spent. I wish I would have just spent the money early on and I would have been done. I promise you will love the Provari and I guarantee you will agree with what I am saying as soon as you get it.

Some people are very happy with the standard 3.7 volts. That's what you'd get from the Bolt. Many people find they need a little more so they step up to vv devices like Provari.

Personally, I'd suggest you get a ego twist type(vision spinner at madvapes) first. You can run it at 3.2-4.8 volts with varying cartos,etc to see what you like.

If you're ok at ~3.7v then the Bolt etc might be ok for you.

If you find you need more volts then you will probably be wise to jump to a Provari since that is where many people end up.

Worst case is you end up with a decent backup device which all will agree you need anyway.

Why not just get a decent kit that hits good and is cheap to begin with till you get your feet wet. The ego twist would be my first choice but there aren't that many good kits out. This kit with a vivi will set you back about 60.00. Can't beat it, comes well recommended by lots of the long term people. It's my backup and now that I have the twist, my charger works with it.

I think you have chosen pretty well for a newbie. To use eGo type tank or clearos you will need to get a 510 to eGo adapter. I use one on my simple 14500 battery box mod at 3.7 volts I might suggest picking up some Kanger T2 eGo clearos aka Sunfires from ivape.net and also checking out mtbakervapor.com for good prices on some juices to get started. I purchased a Vivi Nova from Madvapes and it performs well along with some 18650 IMR batteries that are a good value. Good luck with vaping!

That is the time they ask you to wait for it to actually ship out, but it said the same with my mini and it shipped the day after i placed my order. The total time for delivery in the US i believe are 4-5 days to be delivered to you.

can someone double check my order to see if im missing something or if i should add something, i think im going to stick with the zmax (already did searches on it... not AS reliable as provari, its display is off, and normaly has a higher volt than set/displayed)

on a side note... i cant find a 510 extender.. i think thats what i need to use ego tanks.
