Help Deciding on anther Woodvil

Need some help on picking up 1 more woodvil, Rob has a couple left over still, received permission from the Mrs. to get 1 more, got that look, go ahead and get it over with. Help would be appreciated, need to get this over soon. Thanks Rob, you start with 1, and where does this stop?

I came close to buying this one, [HASHTAG]#243[/HASHTAG], Jatoba/Birdseye. I think it's amazing and find it hard to believe it has lasted this long.

If you like a solid color the Padauk's are amazing. Photos don't begin to capture the beauty of the grain of this wood.

Good luck with the hunt.. I spent 2 weeks going back and forth looking at back photos and changing my mind over and over with what I wanted.

Cherry is one I'd be on.. wasn't enough left when I went for 2 and 3. Now I know why?

Yeah the 2 tone effect with different door sounds nice!

I've had this one in my sights since....forever, and I finally just caved. But.....it's never safe to go to the site.....I'm already back there thinking, "hmmmm...I don't own any lacewood yet....."

It's definitely a moving target, and unless I just totally ban myself from the site, there's always gonna be a new itch wanting to be scratched. I really want them ALL. And it's doubly difficult with this run (versus past runs during which I totally over-indulged) because I love these so much. I've been using the ones I got on the first day and they are so wonderful. Totally my favorite REO "style" by far. I may never use another metal REO again. I love everything about these.....the looks, the feel, the hit, the button, the size, and on and on and on. I want a few more......so my internal war wages on. Torture, I tell you......pure torture.

... but you love it. There's this french bakery that I have to pass every morning on my way to work, and the smell of freshly baked croissants drives me nuts. Now, I could walk another block over and avoid the issue, but do I? No. No, I do not. Consequently, I'm known as the "croissant guy" at work and there's, like, a LOT of crumbs at my desk.

Treat yourself. What's one more croissant? (okay, okay... that, right there, was definitely enabling).

You are totally The Enabler of this forum! The "croissant guy".....that's funny. Your "treat yourself" is my "life is short." I don't need any help here, Papa: I do pretty well in the self-enabling department. But.....now that we're on the subject.....I do believe in the "treat yourself" philosophy. For one thing....even going absolutely crazy and using no self-constraint at all, I'm still ahead of the game when I add up how much money I was willing to spend (and DID for 40+ years) on cigarettes. I could have a new REO every month for the rest of my life. (And who knows....I just might! )

Also, my 5-year Vapiversary is June 30th.....this could be my present to myself for that. Or....my birthday is the 21st of this month. This could be my birthday present to myself. (Now that I think about it....maybe the lacewood will fill that slot....hmmmmm.....)

And if that's not enough justification, I'll say this: this is my only hobby and really the only frivolous spending I do. I don't know about you, but I'm convinced. I may go buy that Lacewood after all! But I think I'll wait 'til he posts that Pink blem (are you reading this @MamaTried) and go for it.
