I believe it's easier than you think once you figure it out. My first relapse was at the bar. I brought an inferno with 0 nic juice and flopped. I dropped the nic too fast. Just this past weekend I was drinking (read drunk) and went outside to smoke with a friend. Puffed on my lava tube before I was about to grab a cig then straight up didn't want one. For me, that is when I am most likely to give in and I honestly didn't want one. My only challenge I am dealing with is being around chain smokers in a situation I am uncomfortable pulling my lt out. I've been getting better with not caring what people think... But right now that is my hurdle.

no biggie. because vaping is actually more enjoyable than cigarettes i dont think its a big deal at all when you smoke. you will more than likely be drawn back to vaping naturally because of the nastiness of cigs. the only thing is you need to be sure the nic level of your juice is right. when starting (or re-starting), i would recommend use at least 24mg so the physical cravings are dealt with. then its all downhill. tastes better, is cheaper (esp when you already have the setup), makes you feel better, etc, etc, etc.

Well there is no shame in going back out the shame would be if you didn't come back. Welcome home. If people didn't FU they would not need erasers on pencils. Try diff flavors, nic count etc. Socialize with other vapers.
I am in a support group. In there we say as long as you come back there is hope. We have a group at group that are vapers growing in numbers we sit in the same area. Hang out together before and after the meeting.
Welcome back hope this helps. Take heart it gets better.

I'm two weeks in was a 2-4 cigar a day inhaler. Last night my last battery crapped out. I had a choice of using my last cigars or going to bed. I went to bed got out and got another battery to tide me over until i get my replacements. The thought of those nasty big dog t cigars was just not appealing any more.
OH I moved from tobacco flavors like the 3rd day. That helped me.

I think that was the thing for me too... moving away from tobacco flavors, that helped me never want to smoke again. I do find that when I have a serious craving though the 808 ciggy style helps me more then my mods to stop that craving, there is just something about being able to hold it like an analog and vape. Getting a bottom feeder (love my Vapage XL) or a nice tank (love my JTank) is really a great suggestion too so you can always have a vape at the ready and not have to worry about preparing everything so often.

Maka, I also started on 18mg, I also had a 1week period where I went back to Stinkies, it was due to a battery going and the stress of running out of charge in the other one.

like you I wanted to get off the stinkies and was happy I was thinking of getting back on to the Vape.
I am back on the vape now, but one of my hurdles was thinking "I have this pack here, I should just finish this pack of Stinkies first, then try vaping again", before the end of the week I had the new Battery and was ready, I did finish the last stinkie and took to vaping even more easily than the first time.

I was a bit disappointed in myself at first that I did go back to stinkies, but found that that was just causing more Anxiety causing me to feel less able to get back off the stinkies. I put those silly thoughts aside and remembered how well I was doing and went back in my own time.

We all know you can do it, there is lots of great feelings and advice coming from the Community, we all want you to do it in your own time, because that is when it will work, when you want to.

Hi everyone,
Ok, I started vaping 4 months ago and went from 35 analogues a day down to one a day for the first month while vaping. Then I stopped smoking completely for 3 months and was purely vaping and loving it. Then I had back to back dramas and being the stressball I am, I started smoking analogues again as well as vaping. Has anyone else had this happen?
Not to me personally but when I have stressful times I switch to a higher nicotine level and increase the amount I'm vaping.

I'm really disappointed in myself especially considering how much money I have spent on equipment and juice, not to mention the fact that I want to get my fitness level up. Any advice?
Cheers
Akasha
I wouldn't be too hard on yourself. There are many highly respected Vets here that took 1-2 years to get off the analogs fully. At least, at this point, you now have the tools and knowledge to quit smoking...and I KNOW you can do it.
Some vapers have found relief in using WTA juice.

First be proud to be a vaper. Second get all things even remotely related to smoking out of your house, car, etc. Third become active in the forum and mods. If you continually try new and different things it remains interesting, and the best nicotine delivery system. i have no interest at this point in cigs, and rarely think about them unless I walk past a smoker, and wonder what I was ever thinking. it takes dedication but can be done with some perserverance. Good luck.
