Looks like the WU just went through. Per Stanford points page,

Donor loft
Team TeamECF (223274)
Score 1939746 (certificate)
Donor Rank 18296 of 1678480
WU 316 (certificate)

So, that was what?! Close to 250K for that one? NICE!!

257,109 :) and it took a little over one day. Not bad at all. Now that was WU# 8101 which a lot of people complain about... let's hope I get some in the 69xx range as those are the ones LLB is pulling more than likely. They complete faster and give more points. There is a core script hack some people use to get only those but I refuse to "cheat" for PPD.

Congrats PittBoss!!!

loft: Very nice!! I just can't compete with you or dusty at this time.....someday i might be able to build a computer worthy but for now funds just wont allow it :(

Right now is the best time... the AMD cpu's are 35 bucks each. Clock in at 2ghz per core and have 8 cores each. The cost to build and ppd per watt used is very cheap. Thank you :)

EBAY! So much cheaper there. AMD Opteron G34 6128, 2ghz 8 core. I can't go to ebay at work so... But yes retail they're like 500 bucks a piece.

Didn't you say that the Motherboard for a quad CPU was $600 o so?

Yep, linked it lol

Sorry I'm a little slow, work is getting busy.

Edit: At least I didn't go with my original plans. I was originally going to build a 4x AMD 6380 rig... $1,200 roughly per cpu. 16 cores each though... that would go through WU's like a hot knife through butter. Maybe we should all chip in for one for the team and have it at a remote location lol...
