To get the control panel in 7.3.6 you would right click the systray icon and there is a menu item that opens it. But its not the same exact window you would get with 7.2.9 and dosent work as well... tm you might need to do a full uninstall and reinstall to get rid of that funky error i dont know about that one...

With v7.3.6 when I right clicked on the icon in the systray I clicked on everything in there and never got the control panel. I don't know what to tell you.

I uninstalled 7.2.9 and reinstalled and this time unchecked "keep current configuration" and selected "uniprocessor". When I click on the client now fah started without those errors but it's sitting at 0% completed and hasn't moved. :( And I still get the same error when I click to start the control panel. I'm getting very tired of this and am thinking it's not a good idea to try to run fah on the 9100. :(

Did you reboot after uninstalling 7.3.9? I dumped xp off one pc and put 7 on it partly because of the problems from fah. The 7.3.9 would not exit all the way - even after trying to uninstall it there was still a "client" thread in my task manager that I had to manually end before I could get 7.2.9 to install properly and that pc also would not show the control panel window when I clicked the menu item for it from the systray. I really thinking that version of fah just isnt really compatable with xp...
tm completely end all the clients threads - double check in task manager - then delet the work folder. Then when you restart the client it should start from scratch. If that does not work then you would need to reinstall the client to reset the config settings.

No, go into your FAH folder and drag your work folder into your trash bin. That should get you a new wu.

Ok, I did that and a new wu started but it's sitting at 0% again. I'll give it some time. It doesn't say in the log how big it is so it could take awhile to complete the first frame. I still can't get the control program to start. I still get the same config error. :( If I can't get the control panel to work than I'm going to bag this project.

I don't remember if I reboot after uninstall v7.3.6

I've already done all the rest of what you said. :( I'll try it again. :-x

Also computers that old might take an hour or more just to complete a frame. If you are just looking at the log files it could likely be a while before anything shows up there.

Yeah, that's what I said above to sashwa.

I ended fah. Checked taskmanager, deleted work file, uninstalled fah, reinstalled fah, fah started and is right back where it was at 0% and holding. I'm just going to leave it alone tonight and see what happens. If it hasn't changed by morning then I give up. I will have to give up if I can't get the control panel also. I can't even select the disease I want. All I have is the log in a a DOS box to look at. :(
