I've been hearing a lot lately about businesses using the Breast Cancer ribbon to raise sales. Its in your best interest to contact the Breast Cancer foundation to find out if they (or anyone else you're potentially buying from) are registered with them to support the cause.

Hey all!
Been rather busy & got side tracked.
Bovine... a quick check of my crystal mod says good things headed your way. So just hang in there!

Been having (still) problems folding. Started when Steam updated their file format and ended up corrupting one of my hard drives. Got that fixed but my PPD went from 100K+ to 38K. Log shows no errors at all and I'm not seeing anything extra or odd in process explorer. Kinda lost as what/where to look.

Oh, Congrats Nach on being a Super T tester! (I'm sooo jealous!)

Wow, that is not good. Anytime I have had any dealings with the guys at Loki Lab, they were always really nice, honest guys. Is there anyway they could just be donating and not have an official affiliation NBCF? Think I am going to contact the Loki guys on that myself too.

I don't know if there is a trademark on the BRC ribbon or not. It's very possible that Loki intends to donate the amount they stated. I'm not defending them, just offering benefit of the doubt.

I understand your view, Nach. I would be very skeptical as well with any business. We are not doing this to boost sales or revenues(we simply dont need that). We're doing it as 2 of the partners at Loki Lab(myself one of them) have been personally affected by loved ones who went through this.

We are not officially partnered with the NBCF. I personally spoke with Kristen and we could not achieve the partnership due to "the controversial product" (they will more then welcome the donations but they as a organization can't be affiliated with this industry)

My company, Loki Lab LLC is collecting money to donate to help women in need get mammograms they simply can't afford with the sales of this tank. The NBCF is more into preventative and treatment funding vs. some that put the money into education & administration.

Our company will also be donating on it's own in addition to the tank sales.

I hope I cleared up any questions or concerns.

Hi Craig,

Thanks for taking the time to respond to this. Just to clear the air, I have no ill will regarding this. It's just that I've seen this happen time and time again with other businesses who actually take the profit from the "donation proceeds". I was merely following up so it didn't look like I was talking out of my rear end. We've all been personally affected by cancer, either from a friend, family member or ourselves.... that's why we're here folding proteins in search of a cure! I used your product as an example for people to know that with a small amount of effort, you can make sure your money is well spent for a cause you desire to help.

On the other hand, it's a crying shame that they view a product/industry that actually promotes the avoidance of cancer causing agents, negatively. I think this news upsets me as much, if not more than the businesses we've previously discussed!

Wishing you the best and sincerely hope you don't take my actions as negative...
