Had some overclock stability issues with my i7 haswell rig. My job is keeping me away from home so I'm not here to reset it when it crashes. No matter what I try I cant get it past 4.5 ghz. Ran the vcore up to 1.5 but no dice and it runs too hot so I upgraded the cooler from a Hyper 212 EVO to a H100i radiator unit but it didn't seem to bring the temps down any.... So for now it sits at 4.5 ghz @ 1.39v but still just a tad bit hotter than I would like...
On a positive note I passed 9 mil :)

Just lower it to where its stable. Then forget about it! :)

In other news, I just received a pair of SLBV3's and will be upgrading my folding rig when I can find the time. So if you see my average bump up 50%, you'll know what its from ;)

the fans are clean, but temps were hitting danger levels so I decided to only run on the home machine that has plenty of fans and airflow.

Yeah, I shutdown my laptop for folding a while back. It's too much for a laptop. Plus you can't fix something as easily in a lappy. I just fold on the rig and my server, both of which sports Xeon procs.

Server: 8-11K PPD
Beast: 110-170K PPD (to increase soon)

Just signed up. And WOW does this use up every bit of extra cpu usage it can! I thought "I'm gonna run this sucker at high! I have a beast of a computer." It instantly tacked out my i7 and since I haven't set up my water cooling system yet I figured I'd turn it down to medium until I throw it on there.

This is awesome, thanks for posting it! My sister has been fighting cancer for almost 5 years now. I am always happy to help in any way I can. I recently signed up for the bone marrow donors list too. I'm glad to see people participating in this! Couple quick questions though.
1:It has been running for about an hour and it still says 0.00% progress on both my GPU and my CPU. Not sure how big the work units are but if they are tracking it in 0.00 increments, shouldn't it have made some progress?
2:I signed up with the passkey because it says it give bonus points to the team but when they emailed me my passkey it said it changed my name to Travis_ because Tbaggerr had troublesome characters. Will this affect me getting the Team ECF title? (Not that it would prevent me from participating, I just like titles :) )
