I'd rather see a number because it defines the accomplishment better plus if we use similar terminology, it could potentially cause confusion and more questions regarding what the accomplishment is/was.

There isn't much you can do with a name with 100k in it so why not just follow the millionaire's lead and call it The 100k of Giving - F@H?

Sounds good. THe 100K of Giving - F@H & The 500K of Giving - F@H. Now, can any body design us some graphics with ECF (100K, 500K and 1 Million) F@H that we can include as part of our signatures?!

I'm going to see if I can come up with something too.

Now, where's my Photoshop?!

So, here is what I was able to come up with for the 100K, 500K and 1 Million badges. Thoughts?!

I'll include links to the larger versions if you want to see the details clearer:

100K: http://ddsouza.smugmug.com/photos/i-b49Sc6c/0/XL/i-b49Sc6c-XL.jpg

500K: http://ddsouza.smugmug.com/photos/i-7MtPP9b/0/XL/i-7MtPP9b-XL.jpg

1Mil: http://ddsouza.smugmug.com/photos/i-f3Hg7dj/0/XL/i-f3Hg7dj-XL.jpg

The only issue that I see is that we will have to limit them to a tiny size if we intend staying in compliance of the "signature" rules on the forum. As it stands, the banners etc for F@H are in violation of this rule. We may have to give up the banner with "stats" and perhaps make the badges into clickable links pointing to our stats page.

Would that work for you folks?

Power user? I just installed it. It kinda auto config'd itself.

Exactly, and it's identified that your computer has the capability to handle more than one Work unit at at a time. Whether this is multiple Work Units by your System Processor, or a unit each for your System Processor and Video Processor matters not.

Summary> Power user! :D

Ahhh ok well I'm running an AMD 6 core 3.50GHz with 12GB of ram and some more stuff I wont go into the full specs. This is a gaming machine as I do play several MMO's.

I like the banners and avatar pics, but if it is done that way how do you keep people from using one that does not apply. I could copy your picture and add it to my profile even though I have neither the 100,000 or 1,000,000 milestone. That is why I would prefer the information to be included in the badge we already have under our user name.

Perhaps a little something called the honour system?! :) Why would somebody want to put something they have not achieved into their profile anyway, when there's 200 (so far) people that can call foul on them?

The banners and avatars can be applied by the user themselves. Modifying the information under a users name requires administrative intervention that is if you are referring to the Team ECF (folding@home) text under a users name. I'm trying to limit the work handed off to the mods/admins of this site, and still give the users something worthwhile to show for their efforts.
